Animal Crossing and FF7R of new releases, but really I would give it to Xenoblade Chronicles Remastered. It was really an already amazing game made even better.

Games are games. Not everything need to be arcade-like release. The purpose of Flight simulator was to provide a gaming experience, it was very sucessful on that regard 

About origami king, it didn't meet the most warm reception and I only had space for 9 options in the poll, hence I need to make choices

I'm sure Flight Simulator will rank high on many year end lists, as for Origami King I only expect it to rank high on Nintendo enthusiasts lists

Persona 5 royal, if we dont count that then Final fantasy 7 remake

Right now it's something like Hades > Ori > FFVII:R > The Last of Us: Part II. Pretty good year so far!

So far, Ori and the Will of the Wisps. I'll be trying to play as many 2020 games as possible over the next three months to have a fully informed opinion, but if voting was today I'd pick Ori.

FF7r easily. Its even the best taking into account the games not on the poll.
Ghost of Tsushi, TLOU2, Hades would be at a comfortable 2nd place.

Ori for me. Excellent gameplay and art. Very challenging game, fantastic music and emotional story.

I've played a lot of games this year, but I don't think any of them were released in 2020.  I did buy Animal Crossing for my daughter, so I think that wins by default.
