Not gonna lie that looks straight up worse than FF7R on PS4 Pro visually.

So the ff14 team are busy working on this that's why ff14 patch 5.3 took forever and I wonder how it will affect the next ff14 expansion

Not happy that the game being exclusive to PS5, but considering that I never really got into FFXV. I don't think the series means anything to me anymore.

I still remember fondly about playing Final Fantasy III as a kid.

I think the BD games have a much more interesting battle system than all the turn-based FF games, which barely require any strategy to win (outside a few optional boss battles). Where the BD games utterly fail, at least when compared with the best FFs, is in terms of story and characters (also, the first BD game has some of the worst padding in any JRPG ever).

I'm actually very excited.

They could have just called the game Devil May Cry 6...
This is not Final Fantasy...

Its a hybrid and that gets me hyped. Dont really think the turn base combat was what defined final fantasy. 

Once or twice could have been fine. Especially if the changes where more meaningfull. But 4 times was just absurd. 

Did see enough ivalice influence and main final fantasy themes to call this a final fantasy.

Hell it even looks more final fantasy than final fantasy games released in the last 15 years.

Honestly, World of Final Fantasy was SE's attempt at a turn based FF on home console. People didn't buy it, even though the combat was good. People care much more about graphics and plot. If people really only wanted turn based FF, then they would have bought it in droves, but I think it was a commercial failure.
