Can someone explain what is that Mario Kart thing they announced. Is it new game or some amiibo type nonsense?

Thanks.

It's awesome. They are toys with a camera that you play in your room, and on your Switch you drive them through an AR course.

Video

I love how almost every year nintendo comes out with something totally out of left field. This is one of those things. Last one was LABO.

Around the Network

My ten year old self whole have loved Mario kart live, but those days are long gone, nintendo shouldn’t advertise toys during videogame live streams.

The best and most exciting thing on this direct was the new Mario furniture coming in Animal Crossing

Don't quote me

Positive:

- At last I will have the opportunity to play Sunshine

Negative

Does not include Mario Galaxy 2 (and it is just the Mario Galaxy that I need to play)

About Mario Kart

It was not the new Mario Kart that I expected but the idea is quite good.

Switch Friend Code = 5965 - 4586 - 6484

PSN: alejollorente10

This is not funny anymore.

Agreed, can’t wait to see Bob sitting in a Mario chair.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Super Mario 64 runs at 720p 30fps... 4:3.... Sunshine is still 30fps but at least 1080p

1080p 60fps Wide-screen should have been the bare minimum.

Meanwhile homebrew have the game running natively at 1080p60fps with wide-screen thanks to the source code leak. With new textures and optional upgraded Mario model.

3 ports, one of them bad, for $60 and it's time limited. Nintendo can be so inept sometimes. Truly baffling.

Well send them a list, so they can center the next Direct around your tastes.

The limited availability of the Mario collection is pretty annoying. I’ll have to refresh a game store’s website (where pre-order’s not up yet) all day today because it’s already sold out at another. I’m also puzzled why the battle royale (it’s existance explaining why Nintendo stopped that fan game at least) game has this time limit.

It’s also too bad that Nintendo hardly ever does actual remakes, I’d love to have seen Mario 64 in a new light. Still, with Galaxy and especially 64 being two of the all-time greatest games ever made one can hardly complain. The Mario Kart spin-off is brilliant though. I’d have gone nuts when I was younger. Now however I feel I’d try it out once for novelty’s sake and then put it away, so there’s little point in buying it.

I also need the Game & Watch.

Is Xenoblade X the only real exclusive the WiiU has left?
