Lots of people knows Brazil as a tropical country with hot temperatures, but we just got hit with a intense winter. And in some parts of the country, it's snowing.

The video above is from Rio Grande do Sul, the southernmost state in Brazil. Today the TV news are talking about cold temperatures and possibility of more snow and frozen rains.

Unfortunately, they discarded the odds of snowing in Sao Paulo, my state. Too bad, I really want to see the snow. It's going to be very cold, though.

People talk about how Brazil is a diverse country, so snow shouldn't be surprising. Snow happens every winter in the USA northern states, and sometimes reaches the southern states.

Yep it happens from time to time... and we will see people using it to prove there is no global warming.

We really are diverse in climate.

If those people would just understand what the word "global" in global warming stands for^^

You may have not ever seem, but there are some areas that snow almost every year, sure it isn't much... and you have to consider that many americans and perhaps in other countries as well kinda think of Brazil and South America as almost the same thing, so if you include Argentina or Chile them it would certainly give the impression that it snows all the time over here on winter.

They wouldn't be... won't say the rest.
