As of May of this year GTA 5 sold 130 million units. Going to go with nope.

Edit: Oh you meant for PS5/Series X/S.. Probably if counting only those consoles.

GTA5? If so why are you comparing a game that was released 2 generation ago. If you meant gta6 then no, animal crossing will not outsell it

GTA V has sold insane numbers on seventh and eighth generation consoles. Despite that, we'll almost surely get GTA 6 on PS5 and XSX. I do think Animal Crossing: New Horizons can outsell the ninth generation versions of GTA V. The upcoming versions of GTA V will probably sell 20-25 combined, and New Horizons is already past 22 million.



Lifetime Sales Predictions 

Switch: 156 million (was 73, then 96, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million, then 151 million)

PS5: 115 million (was 105 million) Xbox Series S/X: 48 million (was 60 million, then 67 million, then 57 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)

That does not seem very hard for a game that will likely blow past 40M by the end of next year.
