12 to 14 mil is my vote. I believe most sales will be very front loaded, but as sales drop so will the price so that will help. I don't see a potential PS5 release doing as well as the 1st did on PS4, so my prediction lands there.

Depends how fast they release it on PS5, if they do at all. Though sales should already be at 9m+ by the time the PS5 launches. It could reach 15m, if it sells less than 12m lifetime I would be very surprised.

14m-15.9m

Also picked 12-14M. I don’t think it’ll beat the first game. Which would be a disappointment for Sony and Naughty Dog, I’m sure they’re expecting 20+.

Bonus question: Didn’t like the first game, quit halfway through because I couldn’t take it anymore, worst Naughty Dog game I’ve played. I’m not touching the sequel with a three-meter pole.

I voted 9 - 10m. I'm not sure if we'll ever officially get the total amount though.

The original sold 6.27m on PS3 alone, according to VGC. And the Remastered version on PS4 sold 6.27m.
Not sure how much better this one will do, but I'll say 9-11 million.

TLOU on PS3 sold over 7m and combined with TLOU:R total sales are over 20m.

I think around 10M on the PS4. Im pretty sure it will get a PS5 version, so it will do well there as well I think.

Ive played both games. Prefer the second one by far. Still love the first one though.

This game will have long legs, the longer time goes on more and more people will appreciate the game for what it is rather than what it isn't. 14 mill on ps4 and 10+ on ps5.

I'm optimistic about its legs so I voted 14 - 15.9 million.

For me it will sell 20M, and as bonus I liked second more but first had a better story.

Around 12 million on PS4 and I will stop here because I dont know if the ps5 version will have improvements, will be a remaster or if there will be any incentive to play it on ps5 except for 4k and 60fps. If it is released on PS5 as a new remastered and much better version that would justify people buying it again then I would go for 15-16 million.
The first one had a lot of sales from people buying it again to play at 60fps because the first game wasnt good at all on PS3 from a performance point of view.
