I agree it's quite annoying we don't know much about the release schedule of the coming months.
That said, from a marketing perspective it made sense to hold their cards for the moment. Since next gen presentations were imminent it, any announcement on their side had the risk of being overshadowed. New consoles naturally get more attention than new games.
Probably we'll know more about it in a month or so, after the next gen hype has deflated a bit.

Most of the titles presented yesterday won't be avaliable at launch.
Plus next-gen consoles will likely be quite expensive at launch.
Nintendo on the other hand has momentum, price-point advantage, and they are likely holding a new game from some very popular IP under the wraps.
