2024 OpenCritic Prediction Leagues:

Nintendo | PlayStation | Multiplat

Another month, and another amazing work from axum. Thanks for keeping this feature alive.

It's interesting how Bayonetta and No More Heroes snug into the top 10 despite not having seen anything from them in... ages.

And the first PS5 games start to appear. Let's hope that the same happens with the XsX once MSoft does its thing.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

C'mon, Zelda will be on top for the next 5 years and that's boring.

God bless You.

My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+

When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019

There were three ravens sat on a tree / They were as blacke as they might be / The one of them said to his mate, Where shall we our breakfast take?

^ Oh, yes, eleven people voted for Zelda, can you imagine that? Eleven! There no way any other game can manage to get such results.

For God's sake. It's not a problem about the site, but rather the users that decided that they didn't want to take part in this feature anymore., lik the Xbox fans did many years ago.

And, just for the record, my number one is Cyberpunk and I didn't vote for any Nintendo game. Don't look for any bias here.

I think we should amend the rules to games coming out in the next 6 months - year. Force people to consider the near future and not games that are 2+ years away.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

But there are more Nintendo users on this site than any other fanbase. I remember somebody did a poll a couple years ago and the ranking was Nintendo > Playstation > Xbox > PC. I think Nintendo got like 40% of the vote. Hard for any game to top Zelda in this competition when it has the largest fanbase on the site voting for it.

You are absolutely right about too few of the Xbox and PC fans we do have on the site taking part in these monthly polls. I've been trying to get more Xbox fans to take part by posting reminders in Xbox Empire, but it has only helped a little bit.

You only need to do a bit of effort and look at the results of past months to realize that the userbase isn't relevant, but the number of people that vote do. Final Fantasy VII Remake won in April, March, February, not January when Zelda won, but it won again in December and November, and I haven't looked before.

As I said, it's how many people vote and also the game that matters.

In that case, 7 of the first 10 games shouldn't be on the list because only Paper Mario, Ghost of Tsushima and Cyberpunk 2077 have release dates.

Just saying the lists will look the same if we count games we know exist but are clearly years away. The emphasis should be on the month itself and near future imo

But a thread to vote for games that are releasing each month already exist, in the form of the weekly poll. Here's the one from July, in case you missed it: https://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=242748

Meanwhile, these threads are about the games we're looking forward, without a time limit.
