Is there a switch shortage in Europe?

It's not stock retail in general is down in Europe hence why even PS4 numbers are down from what they usually are, lock down over here has most stores shut while some countries if you leave the house other than for bare essentials you get arrested and fined.
The switch is already at 6.1 million units for the year. Assuming estimates are correct, what are we looking at for the year total? 22-23 million? Maybe more? Either way, things are looking good and I hope they stay good in light of the pandemic

Probably more then that, 25M seems more likely. Switch sales in 2020 YoY are currently up 49%, if the Switch were to stay at YoY growth of 49% for the rest of the year it would sell nearly 29M for the year which is insane and never been done by a Home console. However, it's unlikely that it'll maintain this growth for the rest of the year but even a somewhat conservative growth YoY like 30% for the entire year would put the Switch at 25Million Sold. IMO 22-23 Million sold is the bare minimum the Switch will sell in 2020.
Good keep for the week after FF VIIR release. Let's see how much longer it can hold. And also Xbox have been a lot of up weeks. COVID is so far keeping console sales higher than expected.
Switch is charting strongly whenever stock is available.

Looks like some Switch stock finally made it down the pipeline; with demand so high, what they sell is pretty much the same as what they can ship.
The gaming sector continues to thrive under the pandemic. In times of crisis, people need entertainment and the arts more than ever.
