There are certain qualities I dont like about it. The white and black design seems really ugly, I dont know why they didnt just go with flat black. The face buttons look almost flush with the controller. Ive dealt with joycon casings that have produced a similar effect and hated it, so I will be curious to see how this actually feels. They also brought back the giant touchpad which was the most unnecessary feature of the PS4, no idea why they brought it back. Start and Select buttons are still pretty standard, and they are still ignoring that for whatever reason.

I didn't think this controller would caused such a huge response.
It's hiralious.

I generally like two-tone designs but I'm not really feeling this one. I feel like the buttons should be black, or it could use some color or something. I'm not a fan of Sony's button layout either, but I at least hope it's bigger than the ds4.

Dude are you actually being serious? The XB1 controller HAS Haptic Feedback, MS call theirs Impulse Triggers while Sony call theirs Adaptive..

https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2013/06/06/xbox-one-controller-feature/

Impulse Triggers – Xbox One’s Wireless Controller sports four vibration motors – a small one behind each trigger that adds precise haptic feedback to the fingertips, and a larger in each grip for large scale rumbles. This gives users a sense of in-game directionality and depth, creating rich, immersive experiences where gunshots, car crashes and explosions can come to life.

For example, in “Forza Motorsport 5,” Turn 10 Studios is using impulse triggers to provide players with precise feedback that enhances the racing experience. If your tires break traction from over-acceleration or if you drift on the gas pedal, the triggers emit very distinct vibrations. This is combined with the chassis rumble that conveys impacts, engine roar and driving over surface irregularities like cobblestone.

You need to learn to read man or at least know what you are trying to argue against. This is not my words, this is stuff that's easily googled. All you have done so far is claim what you think rather than link or prove what you know.

LOL no, just read again "adds precise " it means it's imitate to be like having haptic feedback without having a real haptic feedback. It's just a marketing buzzwords. The tech wasn't ready in 2012 -2013 , unless Microsoft invented time machine to go to the future.

They said "Dual sense are far superior in every aspect , from tech, innovation, and going forward on gaming ,  Sony focusing to bring more experient and revolution rather than iteration from Xbox controler. "

No one is denying which is more superior, you would hope the controller coming out 7 years later would be. But you denied that the XB1 had haptic feedback so i gave you proof which clear stats it.

You can go argu that claim agasint the mega corps, you can call it buzz words all you want. Its written in the description of the controller, actual games utilize it. So either way, rather accept it or not. This convo doesnt interest me any more so i am out.

Think it looks horrific tbh.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

You thought a redesigned controller for an upcoming console release of the most popular gaming brand wouldn’t cause a huge response???

Now THAT I personally find hilarious ;)

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Well, PS5 Logo at CES had several million retweets, likes, etc. So yes the discussion about the controller even more with ressembling the looks of Xbox certainly would generate discussion.

But as a post I believe by Hiku it really is much more like DS4 than Xbox controller.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

I like the design. I dig the white color and it does look a natural progression from the ds4. The shape is a bit more like the xbox controller, which is a good thing imo. The built in mic is cool, but we'll see how many people forget it's on and start talking without realizing.

I really like the looks of it and can tell just by looking at it that it that it is likely going to be really comfortable and quiet while using it. Can tell they paid attention to user friendly features as well as the ergonomics. One feature that has been overlooked is that this new controller has O-ring gaskets that the shell of the controller has that's housing those analog sticks. That is new, and looks to be there to silence the click-clack that occurs during play.

Nothing generated more discussion about a controller than the Wii remote when they unveiled it at TGS 2005. Before Twitter and such and still thousand-page topics in some forums I was at all about the Wii remote. Most of it shock and negative reactions. So 30 pages aren't that much.
