Forums - Movies Discussion - Blu Ray/Movie Collection

Feel free to post your shelf scans or off-site Blu-Ray/DVD Collections here. You can also post them individually on here if you have neither (a lot more work).

As for me, I don't have a shelf, I keep DVD/storage towers for all of my PS4 games and Blu Rays and a drawer full of all my DVDs (most of them, anyway), but I do have an off-site collection full of every movie (DVD and Blu-Ray, don't have 4K) and (current gen) game I own.

My Games/Movies Collection.

Around the Network

I only have two UHD Blu-Ray movies: Blade Runner Director's Cut and Blade Runner 2049

Good idea, it was about time to update my collection.

I don't buy as many new movies anymore (watch more series on Netflix nowadays) but I'm currently watching Chernobyl on Blu-ray.
My most anticipated blu-rays are Westworld S3 and The Expanse S4.

There's more stuff lying around in the living room (mostly Nintendo games) but this is 99% of it.

Once upon a time we had about 700 movies and series taking up a full three Ikea Billies. Now.. not so much. We got rid of most things some years ago.

I'll opt for just Blu Ray as DVDs would be way too many..

30 for 30 Seasons 1 and 2
Breaking Bad - The complete series collector's edition barrel (which I'm proud of, it's pretty damn epic)
Metalocalypse season 3 (1 and 2 are on DVD :P)
Daniel Craig Bond Collection (Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall)
John Wick
Mad Max: Fury Road
Spartacus Season 1 (still one of my favorite shows)
The Live
Super Troopers
This is the End
Planet Earth

Not a ton really - I usually opt for either DVD or streaming these days.

Got about 50 or so Blu Ray movies got over 300 DVD movies.

I bought my first smartphone a few weeks ago, so I actually have a decent camera now to take pictures of my collection. As soon as I can figure out how to upload pictures from my phone to my computer, I'll post them.

In accordance to the VGC forum rules, §8.5, I hereby exercise my right to demand to be left alone regarding the subject of the effects of the pandemic on video game sales (i.e., "COVID bump").

I bought so many Blu-Rays in the last couple of months that they don't fit on my shelves any more.
I own 824 movies on Blu-Ray and a few TV-series although not thaaat many and not always in a complete set (Breaking Bad, Fringe, Lost, King of Queens, Big Bang Theory, Homeland, Sherlock).
About 700 of them were used and I paid between €1 and €3.50 for each movie. While the individual prices are quite low they will add up quickly.

Too many DVDs to count

As for Blu-Rays, I got as movies:

The entire MCU except Ironman (got it still on DVD at the time) and Hulk (don't own)
Pacific Rim
Wreck-it Ralph
Inside Out
The Lego Movie
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
The Matrix trilogy (including the Animatrix)
The Nolan Batman Trilogy
4 Harry Potter movies
Appleseed: Ex Machina

Arrow (Seasons 1-3)
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Cronicles (both seasons)

Here's a bad composite picture of my Billy (open in new tab if you want to read the labels). There's some private stuff that I had to edit out. Sadly, I can't back up enough to get all of it on camera.

Yeah I need a 2nd Billy for Blu-Rays badly. The others on the pic (which you can barely tell) are used for my wife's books mostly. I have 4 more Billys in another room where I put my mangas in. Even that is not enough though.
