As for me, I don't have a shelf, I keep DVD/storage towers for all of my PS4 games and Blu Rays and a drawer full of all my DVDs (most of them, anyway), but I do have an off-site collection full of every movie (DVD and Blu-Ray, don't have 4K) and (current gen) game I own.

Good idea, it was about time to update my collection.

I don't buy as many new movies anymore (watch more series on Netflix nowadays) but I'm currently watching Chernobyl on Blu-ray.
My most anticipated blu-rays are Westworld S3 and The Expanse S4.

There's more stuff lying around in the living room (mostly Nintendo games) but this is 99% of it.

Once upon a time we had about 700 movies and series taking up a full three Ikea Billies. Now.. not so much. We got rid of most things some years ago.

I'll opt for just Blu Ray as DVDs would be way too many..

Not a ton really - I usually opt for either DVD or streaming these days.

Got about 50 or so Blu Ray movies got over 300 DVD movies.

I bought so many Blu-Rays in the last couple of months that they don't fit on my shelves any more.
I own 824 movies on Blu-Ray and a few TV-series although not thaaat many and not always in a complete set (Breaking Bad, Fringe, Lost, King of Queens, Big Bang Theory, Homeland, Sherlock).
About 700 of them were used and I paid between €1 and €3.50 for each movie. While the individual prices are quite low they will add up quickly.

Yeah I need a 2nd Billy for Blu-Rays badly. The others on the pic (which you can barely tell) are used for my wife's books mostly. I have 4 more Billys in another room where I put my mangas in. Even that is not enough though.
