Even though this election has already been called, the votes are still being counted. In the popular vote, Biden is now beating Trump by a bigger margin of votes than Obama had over Romney in 2012. Percentage of votes is still bigger for Obama. He had a 3.9 margin over Romney, Biden currently has 3.3 over Trump, but there are still a lot votes to be counted, so Biden’s margins are only going to get bigger.

^ I like watching Biden's margin grow from 3 to 4 to 5 million votes. Wonder where it'll finish.

Somewhere in the 6-7 million range, I'm guessing. Which would put the percentage margin at around 7-8% in favor Biden, which would actually be closer to Obama's margin over McCain in '08 than his margin over Romney in '12.

Surprise surprise, the key witness brought forth by Project Veritas has recanted his sworn statements. This is why if anyone brings up Project Veritas as though that's evidence for something I will assume they are an idiot or disingenuous or possibly even both. Back on Friday I read a tweet that said "We're waiting to see if the guy who has 3 millions more vote than the other will be declared the winner" which really underlined how crazy/weird US elections can be.

Biden's speech should say enough. It was extremely PC, all the right words said in all the typical ways, with lots of cheering and applause.

Most importantly, the part of the speech where he made it clear that, 'Dem opponents aren't our enemies and are Americans, and everyone needs to work together'.

Which instead of thunderous applause, was crickets instead...

The anything but Trump candidate doesn't verbally agree with every single thing you want him to, so now what? Kamala will almost certainly be on board if she had the power...

Did he want to though just yet, with a potential second term? Trump thrives when he's up against a wall, and seems to get himself into situations at times that look to be his ultimate downfall. Yet somehow he always manages to get by it. Some say he's an evil mastermind, others say 4d chess player.

Just a thought. If Trump somehow, someway, manages to win like how Bush turned around the Gore call in 2000.

- The media will have unintentionally gifted him the fact that there was no outside influence, corruption, collusion, etc.

- The media is starting to show signs that covid isn't quite as serious as broadcast prior. Dems in the streets shoulder to shoulder again, cheering, screaming, and at times hugging and high fiving, who couldn't stand in line and vote. Pfizer coincidentally announcing their vaccine recently makes things looks even brighter. This could lead to the economy opening more quickly and the inauguration being much more filled than it would be otherwise.

- The media will have unintentionally made Trumps, "fake news" slogan even stronger because of their call for Biden and disregard of investigating going on afterwards. They would also have indirectly helped solidify Trumps message of law and order from him.

Even if Trump can't change anything that wins him the election, this will allow him to prove to his base he's the fighter he said he was. If he bails early, be betrays his base and has no chance at a political career going forward and almost certainly not his kids either.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if a Trump concession speech ended up being a 2024 campaign kick off speech. Red hats and MAGA signs and flags everywhere for the next 4 years. Trump on some Fox shows often enough, if he doesn't make his own media platform, with Trump tweeting constantly about politics everyday still. After 4 years of the treatment he got, with the one thing his opponents want more than anything, being able to get rid of his face and voice, would anybody honestly assume Trump wouldn't make sure to 'return the favor'?

As for the rest, you're basically saying "Well if Trump actually is right, then he'll look great!" That's like me saying, "well if I did actually have a foot long dick, that would show the everyone in high school that girl was a liar, wouldn't it?!"

Anyone can invent a scenario in which they, or the person, they support, will look good. But, at a certain point, you have to put up or shut up. If I really want to make Leslie look like a liar, I'd have to whip out my 12 inch dick. If Trump wants to actually make the media look bad, then he has to show the evidence of voter fraud. He's yet to provide any, and his legal challenges are getting tossed left and right. He's whipping it out, and showing that the media isn't wrong, he does in fact have a tiny pecker.

Evidence as of late as per the MSM doesn't seem to be evidence anymore at all so not sure how to take that claim.

I could also say here's proof Trump is great by inserting something that shows no comparison, or that I ask you to disregard for, reasons. I doubt some others would agree. If we're not going to compare anything, everything is either entirely one way or the other.

I didn't say anything about my personal opinion other than Biden's speech. I'm otherwise pointing out what might happen based on the possibilities. Everyone knows Trump and his supporters and what they've 'gotten away with', so it's not crazy to think any of those suggestions are impossible, especially in 2020.

I'd ask for evidence about your very last point... but I'm not going to, and I think the various reasons should be clear why, considering this isn't the thread for that anyway.
