Trump divided the nation? The division was done by the Left. They can't win at this point in our country with out creating continued division. Critical race theory? America is evil? Garbage! We are sick of it! Antifa and BLM are the children of critical race theory. The media is so dishonest it is ripping the nation apart. Creating a false narrative about Russia to smear the President. Impeach him for asking the prime minister of Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden for his corruption while the FBI sits on a laptop that corroborates the President's suspicion? Now the mainstream media is not reporting the story and calling it "Russian disinformation." Scandal beyond belief. Trump 2020 or the establishment gets rewarded for it's treason.

"Trump divided the nation?"
Yes he did? he has a US vs Them mentality.
He ignored the virus outbreak, because he assumed it would mainly hurt the democratic run states (early into the outbreak, when it hit NY).
This has been documented, and theres quotes of trump people saying this these things on papir.

Basically "whats bad for those states (virus outbreak being handled poorly) is good for us (in terms of votes)"
Trump basically supported letting people die, to further his politics.

He also pushes the narrative, of white vs blacks, and constantly comes with raccist remarks. This gains him support from racists, and white power groups ect.
He uses propaganda targeting voters, claiming the suburbs of the white middle class, will be ruined if Joe Biden is elected.
Hes done tons of things and said things, that devide the nation.

The IRONY is that your accuseing the otherside, of something the right does by a far larger degree than the left.
While ignoreing that, probably because of your political views.

"Creating a false narrative about Russia to smear the President."

Its basically proven they colluded with russians to interfer in the elections..... and it just doesnt matter.
Trump owns all the people in charge of the ruleings, so nothing happends.
The avg american doesnt even care.  That doesnt mean it was a "false narrative", just that effectively the US president seems above the law.

"Trump 2020 or the establishment gets rewarded for it's treason."

Peacefull handing over of power, when loseing a fair election, is a key stone of democracy.
If republicans cant do that, you shouldn't even be a part of it.
Bring out your guns, try to forcefull and unlawfully take power, and enjoy being a dicatatorship, under trump.

Its crazy that americans (the right, which appear to be loseing elections) apparently are fine with cival wars, and ignoreing key parts of democracy.

CNN MSNBC must be running 24/7 in your home.

Trump colluded with Russia? And what came of it? Nothing. Except... remember the austrian politician (Heinz Christian Strache) who got filmed when 'colluding' with an russian oligarch? Same scheme, and when it was time Strache was "assissinated".

Today is the big day. Either Trump wins or Trump loses and that guy Biden becomes president by default. Exciting times.

Believe me, it will be a huge shitstorm regardless of who ends up winning.

Dont think so, conservatives will be angry for a couple of days, buy a lot of guns thinking it will change something and then retreat home to go back to work like the sheep they usually are.

This has nothing to do with these little stereotypes people like to throw around about republicans or democrats.

You see the recent anarchist movements like Black Lives Matter and Antifa, and the human capacity to do stupid shit, and you say things like that? If Trumps wins, the destruction said groups will bring will only worsen. If Biden wins, republicans in general will not take it lightly and probably will do protests and offer resistance for months on end.

Either way, given the way that the US(and western nations in general) are divided and radicalized, the US will face resistance, peaceful or otherwise, for the foreseeable future.

If Trump wins, which is unlikely based on the pools, it will be a huge shitstorm. Really, really huge. Most likely Trump would have to take drastic measures which is actually what the marxist far left would love to see happening. I almost want Biden to win just so the country can be pacified and move on with normal business (and also to see how many months it would be necessary for Biden to step down for Harris). But then I remember it would be a huge prize for big tech and media for all their censorship and manipulation.

Believe me, it will be a huge shitstorm regardless of who ends up winning.

I actually agree on this one.

1. He did. But more on 3

2. What the actual fuck? Antifa and BLM the children of Race theory? That like saying black people were in the wrong for not wanting to be slaves anymore. You are really turning reason and effect on their head with that kind of argument.

3. That is the image Trump is sending to the entire world. That the US can't be trusted anymore with anything, leaving unilaterally international organisations and treaties, threatening their allies instead of supporting them, and insulting democracies left, right, and center all while praising several dictators over and over again.

Combined with the US frightening military power, Trump's legendary impulsiveness and his tendency to coercion, the entire world is worried by a Trump in the White House. What will he do if you don't do exactly as he says? That is why half the world is afraid of Trump - and sadly, those are the democracies around the world and not the dictators and autocrats who should have been afraid instead. The dictator in Saudi-Arabia got protected, the one in North Korea got out scot-free and with a lot of praise from Trump. Trump repeatedly praised both Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin and their actions. But at the same time, he had only contempt for most European leaders, so of course they're wary of him, too.

4. So many things wrong here with your sentence:

  1. He didn't ask, he tried to coerce by withholding military equipment already paid and aquitted by congress (which also means he legally had no power to do so btw) which Ukraine desperately needed to fight back against Russian-backed (and with actual Russians fighting in there, too) separatists.
  2. The "information" was bogus anyway, because a) the justice minister had been known to be totally corrupt for years and thus b) if Biden's son would have done something wrong, then they would have fought to keep him in power as he would have approved, not condemned it.
  3. Trump did know the information was bogus but worth the bad publicity for Biden anyway

Also, to go back to the first point, your post is very accusing, agressive and thus divisive. Kinda proves the point from the left then...

I see you are a man of culture as well...

A few months ago I decided to re watch it just for the sake of remembering my childhood. The first time I watched it was probably 30 years ago. I though I would hate it today and it wouldnt pass the test of time. Oh boy how I was wrong. It's a masterpiece.

I just want Trump to lose.

One of my favorite movies, I spend 3 years to find it on Blu-Ray. Finally found a British version after that time in 2016. Just watched it in 2016 with my wife, who never saw the movie (and she normally doesn't want to watch older movies, older being anything that's older than 5-6 years...). She liked it, but I had to explain some parts for her because she couldn't understand half the movie due to times being different now...

It actually motivates me to make an annotated version to explain the jokes that go over modern people's heads (The cultists at the airport, smoking in a plane, the entire plot being based on another movie, saying goodbye on the runway, the woman wondering about her husband taking a second coffee being a spoof from an ad campaign, the children acting like adults being that too, reporters wearing outdated clothes, the "Saturday Night Fever" joke, what they are doing with the African natives, the singing nun being a shout-out, the patient being one too, the "I say, let them crash"section, and most importantly, the point of the taxi driver)

But enough of this, we don't want to derail this thread any further now, do we?

I’m curious how the election will affect the Covid response. In Utah, we are getting dang near epicenter status...things are pretty dire here... and nobody is doing anything about it. If trump wins, do we just stop pretending to fight it? How would the left react to that? If Biden wins, do we start taking it more serious? How does the general population react? Do republicans get more aggressive with being anti mask/shutdowns?
I worry about how the next couple of months are going to play out...
