Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Monolith Soft had 70 employees in 2011. They now have 243

Under Nintendo's stewardship, the company has more than tripled in size over the last 9 years.

Here's hoping we see their next original project soon.

They have become one of my most favorite devs of recent years, and am excited to see all of their projects come to fruition.

They are one of Nintendo best studios after all.Xenoblade, Zelda... Xenoblade again because it's so good.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I wonder if they're doing the Xenoblade remaster/remake/whatever in-house, or if it's being handled by another studio like Twilight Princess HD or Link's Awakening.

We know they're helping out with BOTW2, plus working on that new game they teased back in 2017.

No idea whatsoever. We should find that soon enough though.I can feel a direct next week.

Very big expansion for a studio fans really like.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

They are also a very efficient studio as well! These guys need to rub off on Retro Studios, they have consistently put out great games in a timely manner.

I think we might see it this year and released later this year or early next year. They have been working on it for a while now and we know it's not cancelled since it's still on their website. It looks really interesting and i think we have a good chance of seeing it this week (if the direct happens ofc).

It's definitely been in the oven look enough that it should be ready to be shown by now.

I'm afraid to get my hopes up for a Direct next week though, after so many weeks now of hoping for one and being let down.

For some reason I was thinking Retro and about to question labor force to output. Anyways Monolith Soft is a good studio.
