I had misremembered the video and thought they ALL looked like that. It's a good look on the beach, but it wouldn't have been, say, in Waluigi Stadium.

The wii had a few modest improvements but hey if they messed up too much with it, it wouldn't be the same levels.

It only looks a little better from those videos but I bet the difference is much bigger on my 42" HD.

The stadium looked almost identical save for changing the look of the boost ramps. DK mountaing and Peach Beach look blurrier likely due to and enhanced sunlight effects. 



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

OK. I have watched the video. Similarly, I have played SSBB Melee stages and played SSBM.

It is the same thing on both. There are subtle differences in terms of light and color and sharpness which make the Wii-makes slightly improved versions of the original -- which is all they are trying to be.

And given that these changes are subtle explains why some people don't notice them and some people can't notice them.
