Impressive switch peformance, up weekly without releases and stil 30% up yoy. Ps4 at over 60% yoy decline, as expected.

Good showing by Switch, Ring Fit Adventure and Pokémon. But none of those things are surprising anymore, so I'll touch on something else this week in order to be justified to write more than a couple of sentences in addition to posting the year over year table.

Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training for Switch is performing significantly above my low expectations. I had expected it to tumble into the lower regions of Famitsu's top 30 by now and to fall out of the top 30 by the end of February, but the game is showing some legitimate legs despite not doing much new (unlike Ring Fit Adventure which isn't just another Wii Fit). It still has some way to go before it exceeds the lifetime sales of its 3DS predecessor, but as of now it doesn't look like it will do worse than it.

Ring Fit Adventure takes the top spot. Nothing notable released this week and yet Switch sales go up. Nothing can stop the Switch. It seemingly sells for no reason.
