I guess I am being too harsh. With the constraints the developers are working under it's actually a good effort.

It's one of the best looking Wii games even in it's early stage. The art direction is pretty crap though.

Maybe I'm just tired but that came off as an underhanded comment. I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt here.
Out of curiosity did you watch the tech demo video?
| coolestguyever said: I betcha this will sell about as well as no more heroes. people got so hyped about NMH and it sold like crap. Wii owners don't want FPS's, they want another mario game. Just look at the sales. Mario sells, games like Red Steel and NMH don't sell that well. |
NMH was an niche, ultra low budget game by a quirky developer. This game seems much more mainstream and much higher budget. Also NMH was rated Mature, this will probably be rated Teen which will allow it to sell a lot more copies.

I'm with you, maybe I'll buy two. Developers who take chances on the Wii deserve to be rewarded.

"I cant lower my expectations sorry, i moved from last gen."
I can't buy your BS. Sorry, you know damn well the Wii is a current gen system.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
looks good a third party wii game with some effort put in to it its a must have for me

Nintendo Network ID: Sherlock99
The game looks pretty generic and the developer doesn't have very good credentials, but it's good to see third party games with serious effort behind them starting to arrive. Who knows, this might be decent.
| --OkeyDokey-- said: Look, you guys know I'm a big Wii supporter.... But the fact that you are all citing a new game from the developers of 50 Cent: Bulletproof and Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude as "good third party support" is quite sad. I can't imagine this being anything more than shovelware. Looks purty though. |
I normally don't argue with you ( because I love you too much ), but you are a bit hard on people here. They aren't going all excited by just the announcement of the game or the developer's previous efforts, we have some quality signs here.
A built-up impressive engine for the Wii shows that this is no cash-in effort and the developer's claims and ambition is simply plausible.
