Just enjoy the good looking shit you see Here and stop being obsessed with If its Sony first party or not, you dont see anyone around Here complaining every time CGI puts screenshots of insane good looking PC versions of games on max settings of his insane PC. Why dont you create your own thread , post your own screens from your i AM sure fucking amazeballs 4000 dólares PC to blow out fucking Minds and call it " good looking games that are not from Sony because i dont like people to give Sony games attention and want to forget they exist " . Then you are happy, we are happy cause we get to see amazeballs pictures of insane hyperrealistic games from your insane PC and we all happy cause There in no complaining.

lol, I'm not even on about that mate. I was more on about seeing the other games getting high levels of praise, instead of being locked out of some made up rule of thumb.

I've created multiple threads before, and well, they die, so there goes your advice right out the window.

Also my PC didn't cost 4k either...

Also when tf did I say I wanted to forget Sony games exist?. I said in brackets; "hopefully something visually detailed that isn't a PS 1st party game", because that's what I want to see, because it's my opinion in hoping for some of that "level of detail" in other games.

I doubt you'd even pop into my thread at all tbh. You've hardly popped into any of mine before.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

I still have to finish or rather continue with the last of us. GT Sport interrupted with a few good weeks of races and now FS2020 is taking all my time.

A couple shots from my ongoing tour all real time and weather. Approaching St Johns New Brunswick for a nasty fog landing.

Passing over Nova Scotia

Heading for Gris Fiord (Northern most airport in Canada)

Crossing over to Qaanaaq, Greenland

It looks good without clouds as well :)

And that's all on my shitty laptop :)

This stuff is unbelievable. You must be having a blast.

It is generally amazing. Beware though that I am cherry picking.

There are many problem areas as well, especially in the height maps, difference between water and terrain.

Most problems are further North (Northern Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Norway) but water generally needs a lot of work still

Niagara falls is very bad, no spray effects either.

Weird hills in water can make water landings pretty challenging.

It's still early access, many features don't work properly yet and there are tons of bugs in the terrain, especially around water and bridges. Auto pilot sometimes enters a state where it will only do barrel rolls or pitch the plane up or down vertically, restart game. 16 MB RAM is a bottleneck, I went down to 2 fps at San Francisco intl airport with heavy page file usage. (It's a bit better now, I had the page file on the hdd instead of ssd) I still haven't seen any of those rain effects from the trailers although I've been through plenty rain.

Then there are the boring stretches, night flight to Greenland, for 2 hours this was my view lol.

In an endless cloud layer at night, absolutely pitch black, instrument flight only. That was an intense landing at a tiny airport.

Low, just under the clouds for the final approach, so scary! Luckily google maps shows the layout of the runways :)

Crossing to Iceland was epic

Arriving in the dark of course, at least the town was bigger and easier to spot

That's where I ended today, in Ísafjörður, Iceland. It's dark there now, waiting for sunrise in Iceland to continue haha. Hmm 5:59 am GMT, 2 am my time, better off continuing in the morning!

Yes we know you get really annoyed that Playstation get more attention than PC, that explain why your threads don't flourish... yet you want to highjack and dictate what other people threads will be.

For such a huge game (volume of locations and geography), I'm not so surprised, but I'll admit that water hills and water landings are hilarious.

Still with all those bugs, it blows my mind.

While you're in Iceland, maybe you can say hi to Pezus for us! :)

I personally started some drawing classes on udemy, I hope to be able to do some animation soon. No cutting-edge graphics, but I hope to make something artistically pleasing to the eye. Most probably 2D.

I flew around Iceland today, it was epic. So addictive. My flight plan today, stop and go landings everywhere.

Only the crossing to the Faroe Islands was unattended, started at 8 am, behind the controls until a bit after 3 PM when Iceland disappeared behind.

Along the coast lines the detail is very good. Up into the mountains you get issues.

Contrast with

It was already dark in the Faroe Islands, 5 pm my time.

I knew where the airport was thanks to Google but it's not listed in the game so no marker, no lights, too dark. I turned around and landed on the road you see out the left side window. The landing lights on these planes don't light up the ground until you're on top of it.

I'll do a night flight later to the Shetland Islands, Scatsta EGPM is in the game so should have some lights at least. I 'cheated' to check out whether the Faroe islands were worth waiting for morning for. Nope, the base low-res textures actually look better. The 'detail' that streams in from Azure just replaces it with blank empty smooth hills. No data. Park at the Shetland Islands tonight, then on to Scotland tomorrow, or Bergen, Norway. Fork in the road.

The Netherlads turned out lovely in FS2020. The cities aren't that great with the generic, not Dutch looking at all, buildings.
The landscape does look great.

That beach reminds me of Haamstede north of Neeltje Jans where i used to go on vacation as a kid , some days you just has the whole beach for yourself and that was great.

I haven't played RDR 2 since launch but I remember being wowed by it. Like I said, I can't imagine a PS4 game looking better than TLoU 2, so I'm curious: What does TLoU 2 do better than RDR 2?

Character models, environmental detail (especially water), and reflections. Then, the animations, which are unmatched by any game out there.

I can't comment on the technical differences, as that's above my pay grade.  But, I played both of them on PS4 Pro, and I was much more impressed by RDR2.  TLOU2 is a beautiful game, probably my number 2.  But, the massive, beautiful world that RDR2 gave us is just way cooler than the relatively linear areas of TLOU2.

I also think TLOU2 gets some bump in gamers' minds from the recency effect.  It's top of mind, whereas RDR2 is stuck back in the memory bank.

Them since you are talking to someone that done the technical comparison and isn't talking about personal taste you know you are wrong right?

I find the foliage and weather effects of TLOU2 superb, maybe the best I've seen, but I think character details and animations (especially face animation) are below of what we saw in DS, RDR2, and Gears 5.

And we must take into account the fact that DS and RDR2 are fully open-world, and that Gears 5 runs at 60fps.
