Brad Sams claims in his last video that tomorrow we might see MS starting taking the GamePass-exclusive approach. So that the certain games will require GamePass subscription with no option to buy them. I personally don't see this happening especially considering that he most likely referred to MS first-party games and such approach can be bad for games like Forza which will obviously get delisted at some point, but who knows.

This doesn’t sound good. I remember that SoT got rebooted and that’s why its launch was dry on content.

Some of these leaks are ridiculous. That Brad Sams one though... Seems more like an educated guess at something that will likely happen in 10-20 years.

Yeah, that makes zero sense, unless Microsoft has suffered a blow to the head then I don't see that happening anytime soon, these rumours lately becoming a little tiring, seeing folk freak out (negatively) over Grubb's latest tweets, Lol.

Like, this is the same company that is banging on about being able to play games wherever you want, having an open ecosystem, even talking up their Steam support, now they're going to restrict some titles behind a subscription service? Same company that doesn't even restrict their PC titles to Windows Store.

Not to mention, delisting can happen to a lot of titles even outside of Forza, it affects Forza more for obvious reasons though, and they're talking up about how Game Pass titles do great on the service AND sell well (of which Microsoft takes a cut off).

And also the bad PR they'll receive from it.

Spoiler!
Obviously will do more harm than good. Just way too aggressive and will generate a ton of unneeded bad PR in the process.

I'll wait for a timestamp because over the past few weeks 90% of what Jeff has said which has caused folk to freak out was simply him speculating about stuff, a lot of "I think" which gets posted into Era with no timestamp, folk lose their minds, turns out it's just him guessing like any of us, calm, rinse and repeat, Lol.

The funniest thing is - the most "Jeff Grubb said" stuff that has been circulating recently is not even confirmed to be exactly said by him. It's just some random dudes making up stuff and labelling it under "Jeff Grubb said it on some stream" with no source to back this up.

I only saw some news pieces popping up about Ubisoft games but didn't even make the connection that it was part of their show. That's how insignificant these news appeared to me.
Must have been a poor show.

Series X still Sold out in Germany shortly after it is available but you get the Series S for 239 already. That's  crazy.

Missed the Ubisoft show today, but seems I didn't miss much, pretty lackluster showing from them based on what I've read, sounds like a 3/10 show at best for my tastes. No South Park RPG 3, no Ubisoft Massive Star Wars, no new Assassin's Creed, no new Blood Dragon, no new Splinter Cell, no new Child of Light, no The Crew 3, no Skull & Bones, no Prince of Persia Remake. I'm not a big Avatar fan (though glad to see it's current-gen only, gives me hope for AC 2022, Star Wars, and the re-reveals for Skull & Bones and Beyond Good and Evil 2 to be current gen only as well).

Covid clearly hurt them more than we originally thought, considering they had fewer delays on 2020 and 2021 games than any other publisher. They must have sacrificed the development for some of their late 2021 and 2022 games in order to crunch to get the 2020 and early 2021 games our faster, which means their output for the rest of 2021 and 2022 will be lackluster most likely.

You may want to start preparing yourself for the possibility of not getting a new AC next year, because they were talking about working on new content for Valhalla throughout 2022 as well. Don't know if they'd be doing that if there was a new entry coming out.

That's 239 Euros! £205! That's insane

It's been a while since the last time I posted, lets see what MS and Bethesda will show today.

Proud to be a Californian.

Starfield trailer has leaked online so be careful, Jason was right with the release date sadly.
