Jeff Grubb is saying Forza Horizon 5 isn't set in Japan.

Someone on Era makes a fairly good speculative comment that it is set in America by looking at DLC for other Forza's, he says Forza Motorsport 6 had a lot of Australian cars added as DLC then Horizon 3 was set in Australia, Forza Motorsport 7 had a lot of image files leaked of British cars then Horizon 4 was set in Britain and now Horizon 4 has a lot of leaked documents of unreleased cars, with a lot of American-only cars.

Eh, I would kind of be disappointed if it was America again but I'm sure Playground will make it amazing, I would have preferred South America though, somewhere like Brazil, if not Japan.

I don't have a problem with America again and tbh it can cover so many different climates and landscapes on it own that we could get pretty much anything.

Forza Horizon in Japan gonna be just like Assassin's Creed in Japan. Fans keeps asking. Devs keep ignoring lol

How many western studios have created games set in Japan? If the answer is 0 then it's conspiracy time, if it's more than 0 then keep scrolling.

I mean, Sucker Punch literally just did one man lol. It's possible though, that a lot of teams simply don't feel that they can do the area justice. Like, if you have a team comprised of people from around the US, and Europe, who grew up in those cultures, in those environments, learning about key history to those areas, etc...the team is probably just inclined to lean on those lived experiences, because they feel they can really bring a piece of themselves into that development process. Whereas on the flip side, if you're doing a game set in Japan, and you maybe have only a select few people on your team who connect to that region on a personal level, maybe there's a certain intimidation factor, and in the AAA market in particular, where people are rather risk averse, a lot of people would be inclined to just stick with what they know.

I don't want the next Forza Horizon in Japan, I want the next Forza Horizon in a country with right-hand traffic.

Japan can follow in 2022 or 2023.

The advantage of not doing Japan now, it's having it on a ''next gen'' only release.

Would rather have it asap, but could be good as long as they do it for real.

400 on South America for Forza. Im guessing Mexico
200 on Starfield not being exclusive
100 on March for Zenimax deal

I guessed Mexico back in february! I would love it if it ends up true.

Btw, i was right about the Zenimax deal and its looking good for my Mexico prediction. Will i be right about Starfield too... ?

Finished Layers of Fear 2 and yeah it's not as good as the first.
Game wasn't creepy at all. Just a walking (and rotating) simulator with very few puzzles.
I was mostly annoyed by the constant change between colour and black and white and the general darkness of the game.
Didn't really understand the story but that's probably because I ignored it when I noticed that it's about two children.

6/10.
