Yeah, I really hope that if there is an Xbox-Nintendo partnership, it's not one-sided like in the past. I absolutely hated seeing Xbox allow games like Ori and Super Lucky's Tale on Switch, while Nintendo was unwilling to port a single one of their exclusives to Xbox in return, not even the 2nd party or 3rd party hat ones. If this is yet another one sided partnership that benefits Nintendo gamers but does absolutely nothing for Xbox gamers, I will be pretty livid with Phil. If Nintendo wants ports of Xbox games, be be they from Booty's division, Xbox Global Publishing, or Bethesda, they need to be willing to at least allow some of their 2nd party games and 3rd party hats on Xbox, games like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Astral Chain, Deadly Premonition 2, and Rune Factory 5.
If it's just an xCloud app on Switch, that's not really something that would concern me. Soon just about anybody who owns a smart TV will be able to use xCloud anyway (except for maybe Sony smart TV owners, as Sony may block an xCloud app due to Playstation, and possibly Amazon FireTV owners, as Amazon may block xCloud on FireTV since it competes against their Luna service), so xCloud being on Switch changes precisely jack shit.

It's gonna be like you say, xCloud on Switch (probably limited to MS games only), but who knows, maybe some publishers will use it as an opportunity to bring their games to Switch which otherwise wouldn't have made it to the platform anyway. And yeah, it will be one sided. Nintendo will not give away any of their stuff because they don't really need to. Switch sells at extreme pace and is the most popular console at the moment. People will play their games on Switch and will keep buying Switch to play these games anyway. Porting games to Xbox will not add too much to Nintendo's business, so there is no point in that.
P.S. I hope if this xCloud app indeed makes it to Switch, there will be an option for local streaming
