I hope the BC team is bringing more original Xbox games to the service because the offering is still very sparse.
Then my dream scenario is bringing servers back online for original Xbox games. Considering the amazing work the bc team has been able to achieve, I don't see why they couldn't find a way to make it happen.

Honestly, I cheesed through the last mission. Since I never play with engineers, I used a buffed grenadier with anti-armor grenades and finished the mission in two turns due to AoE damage.
The method works in both normal and hard mode.

The one before that I played "legit" and finished it in three turns. I initially thought I had to shoot all targets from a distance but once turn 3 started and the game allowed me to move closer it was a cake walk.

Discord rumored to be selling for $10b+ soon, and it's rumored that MS might be the ones buying Discord.

https://venturebeat.com/2021/03/22/discord-exploring-sale-that-could-be-worth-more-than-10-billion/

If Discord is indeed seeking for a buyout, then the only potential buyers are tech giants. Discord is gonna be extremely expensive. And out of tech giants, Microsoft is definitely the best choice I think as they are the only big tech company which has large presence in gaming. The issue is though, is that they already have similar app but with focus on business - Teams and they also have Skype. I just feel like buying out Discord will put them in a situation where they would have way too many similar assets which needs resources to support them. And there is a problem that Discord uses AWS but Microsoft buyout will most likely mean migration to Azure. So, I agree with Ryuu, it's gonna be Amazon most likely. Discord already has strong ties with them anyway.

Discord should honestly go public.

Curse whoever decided to put a 1 GS achievement at the start of Overcooked and make the achievement that ends in 9 and balances out the 1 the hardest achievement in the game. I’ve always been a perfectionist when it comes to having my gamerscore end with a 0 or 5 and now I have totally screwed myself, this game is way too hard to get 3 stars on every level. Now I have to try and find a game that I own or is on Gamepass with an easier achievement that ends with 4 or 9 GS which I can unlock without earning the 1 GS achievement first, or find 4 other games with 1 GS achievements that I can unlock.

Not gunna lie, this is what is keeping me from playing Cyber Shadow, every achievement in that game ends with a 6 or a 1. My OCD can't handle that lol

More than half a year later, this is how my most played list of the Xbox One generation looks at the end of 2020:

1. Assassin's Creed Odyssey 96.52 hours
2. Dragon Age Inquisition 85.00 hours
3. Gems of War 84.37 hours
4. Battle Islands 75.47 hours
5. Project Spark 72.20 hours
6. Fallout Shelter 70.98 hours
7. Assassin's Creed Origins 60.22 hours
8. Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition 53.00 hours
9. Battle Ages 45.03 hours
10. Dragon Quest XI S 44.20 hours (+ 44.20)
11. Watch Dogs 43.85 hours
12. Assassin's Creed Syndicate 42.75 hours
13. Minecraft (X1 + Bedrock Edition) 42.23 hours (+   2.14)
14. Divinity: Original Sin 2 42.00 hours (+ 42.00)
15. Clicker Heroes 40.73 hours
16. Forza Horizon 2 38.90 hours
17. Assassin's Creed Unity 38.12 hours
18. Rise of the Tomb Raider 37.30 hours
19. Far Cry 4 37.17 hours
20. Kingdom Hearts III 36.76 hours
21. Shadow of the Tomb Raider 34.88 hours
22. Middle-Earth: Shadow of War 34.12 hours (+   0.04)
23. Mass Effect: Andromeda 32.00 hours (+ 26.00)
24. Yakuza Kiwami 2 31.87 hours (+ 31.87)
25. The Crew 30.77 hours

Quite a bit changed.
Started and finished DQ XI S, Divinity 2 and Yakuza Kiwami 2 since the last update. They are dropping in on #10,#14 and #24 respectively.
Apparently also finished ME: Andromeda during that time, feels like I played that a long time ago. It makes the list on #23.

Jurassic World Evolution, Forza 6, Far Cry Primal and Batman Arkham Knight fell off the top 25. Also while I did play the Far Cry 5 DLCs, it could only go up to 29.33 hours played (+ 5.45) and thus misses the list by only 1 1/2 hours.

Gears Tactics doesn't have in-game statistics and doesn't record time played but according to HowlongtoBeat.com the campaign is 20-25 hours so it has likely ended up short.
I'm currently installing Yakuza 0 again to see my completion time. It's supposed to be the longer game than Kiwami 2 so I'm checking if I missed it.

Currently not playing anything that would've a chance of getting into the top 25.

Time for a new playtime update. My last update was from Q4 2020, so it's been pretty much exactly one quarter.

1. Assassin's Creed Odyssey 96.52 hours
2. Dragon Age Inquisition 85.00 hours
3. Gems of War 84.37 hours
4. Battle Islands 75.47 hours
5. Project Spark 72.20 hours
6. Fallout Shelter 70.98 hours
7. Assassin's Creed Origins 60.22 hours
8. Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition 53.00 hours
9. Minecraft (X1 + Bedrock Edition) 47.95 hours (+ 5.72)
10. Battle Ages 45.03 hours
11. Dragon Quest XI S 44.20 hours
12. Watch Dogs 43.85 hours
13. Assassin's Creed Syndicate 42.75 hours
14. Divinity: Original Sin 2 42.00 hours
15. Clicker Heroes 40.73 hours
16. Far Cry 4 39.25 hours (+ 2.08)
17. Forza Horizon 2 38.90 hours
18. Assassin's Creed Unity 38.12 hours
19. Valkyria Chronicles 4 37.92 hours (+ 36.82)
20. Rise of the Tomb Raider 37.30 hours
21. Kingdom Hearts III 36.76 hours
22. Shadow of the Tomb Raider 34.88 hours
23. Middle-Earth: Shadow of War 34.12 hours
24. Mass Effect: Andromeda 32.00 hours
25. Yakuza Kiwami 2 31.87 hours

Minecraft moves up from #13 to #9. The cave update should release soon so I expect some more hours.

Played two more hours in Far Cry 4 thanks to the FPS Boost. Did some arena achievements and grinded to max XP.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 shoots up to #19, pushing The Crew out of the top 25.

Played some Forza Horizon 4 lately but not enough yet to get it into the top 25 (roughly 15 hours).

Fallout 4 could be up next. But maybe I'll play Octopath Traveler first.

Bad move on many levels:

1. They spent 18 years building up the Xbox Live brand only to basically abandon it
2. It sounds like they are copying Playstation Network
3. When Gold is eventually dropped once Gamepass subs reach the level where they can afford to drop Gold and make multiplayer free for everyone, the last remnant of the Xbox Live brand will be totally gone, unless they rename Xbox Network back to Xbox Live at that point.

This is a nothing move.  In the big scheme of things its not going to matter one way or the other because the only service MS is really concerned about is Gamepass.  Its evident that MS has other plans and marketing that will be going towards building their ecosystem around the name change.  Xbox live, Xbox network who really cares what name it is.  I believe the bigger scope is that they are bringing a lot of other different services to market and do not want to tie it to Xbox live.  Nobody really cares what they tie these marketing names to in the long run.  Xbox Network probably will be the the top level and then underneath they will have different names for everything else.

Wait, they use AWS? I thought they used Google?

Ahh man, that makes Amazon even more likely, Lol.

My bad, seems like they indeed use Google Cloud and not AWS. Seems like it's easier for MS then as I don't really remember Discord having any deals with Amazon. On the other hand, it's gonna totally suck if Google gets them.

Cyber Shadow is the game that ironically fixed my gamerscore after it was spoiled by Ashen

Some of the ideas I've seen on Era for Discord/Xbox integration.

  • Promote xCloud through Discord/Integrate xCloud into Discord.
  • Native Discord App on Xbox.
  • Party Chat Across Xbox/PC.
  • Bring back the Discord store, maybe as a launcher? Anything is better than Windows Store.
  • Game Pass Ultimate Perks - Discord Nitro.
  • Merge "Communities" with Discord Communities.
  • Integration across Xbox, easier Screenshot sharing.

Imagine opening Discord, a library of xCloud games sitting there, launching them directly through Discord and then instantly streaming to Discord communities.

In May 2019, Discord reported it had at least 250 million registered users across its web and mobile platforms. It was used by 56 million people every month, sending a total of 25 billion messages per month.

Tbh if Microsoft doesn't get this it will be as big of a missed opportunity as Twitch, bigger even, and both likely lost to Amazon, Microsoft better not let Amazon beat them again, Lol.

MS is looking for a service like this with the amount of users especially since they put in a bid for TikTok.  MS is all about getting as many users into their ecosystem as possible so making a purchase like this is right up their ally.  I would not be surprise if MS is willing to go a little higher to land Discord if their userbase is that large.  MS would definitely try to tie in Gamepass, XCloud and their other services.

Might get a few BC games. For example, I completely forgot about the existence of Lost Planet 3.
