A game selling 2M is far from not being supported by the xbox user base.

In a system where the publisher skips 90% of the releases they do, having a port sell 2M.. if anything, it's a testament to how much xbox fan base wants those games. Most games would cry of joy with those sales LT

FF wise I have no doubt they will have come to xbox later, just don't blame xbox users to not support it full price when the time comes.

A/AA wise, they don't even release anything to begin with. Thankfully better publishers like Sega and Bamco have been seeing the light, and increasingly support xbox more and more, I don't even plan to play yakuza for a while but did buy the yakuza games anyway (collection included) because I like to reward those who support xbox, will be there day 1 with judgment for sure, and so on.

I just hope Sony doesn't hat the next Kingdom Hearts game as well, that would really suck. Nomura is currently developing the next KH spinoff set between KH3 and the new KH numbered trilogy/series, seemed to tease that it will release in the next couple of years.

They already had the timed hat on the KH3 dlc.. so wouldn't shock me at all.

I'm kinda just done with FF franchise at this point. I've gone so long with playing an entry in the series that I genuinely enjoyed, that I honestly just don't even miss it anymore. I'd have some interest in giving XIV a go, since that's the one FF game that everyone I know who's played it speaks fondly of, but the mainline series....? Meh. You do you Square. You're not missed.

Damn one might think Minecraft is a game for kids but fighting Wither was no joke. Took a long time to find 3 skulls to spawn it and make Nether gear. We also built 10 iron golems to help with the fight. My younger kid was crying and wife raging through the battle but we killed it alright.

Now to gather a shitload of gold ore...

I wouldnt say it isn't for kids... but it seems like a lot of work... like y'know... homework.

Yeah, rumor is Sony paid to extend their 1 year timed deal on FF7R, will now get a re-release on PC and PS5 with new content around the 1 year anniversary of FF7R in April, then an Xbox release sometime later. We don't really know how long Sony paid to extend it by, could be a whole other year before it shows up on Xbox, or it could be just a few months extension, as Sony hat deals commonly range from 1 month, to 3 month, to 1 year. Sony and Square are both pretty shit if you ask me, Sony is shit for hatting all the FF games (and Athia by the FFXV team) and Square is shit for letting them.

At this point, I would consider acquiring SE solely to take a dump on Sony's hatting. The problem is that they are likely to ask for a lot unless MS finds a workaround to force them (which is the one thing Japanese corporate law is stringent against. They really despise greedy moves).

At this point, maybe I should give in to the pErSooNaH! train and agree MS should just buy Sega and rip Atlus out of the Sony ecosystem. Again, the idea of Marvelous+Tamsoft is also doable.

OTOH, as Angelus noted, I kind of consider FFXV to be "the last Final Fantasy" and everything else to be either a remake of an old game (nice, but not great) or another game entirely (XVI is implied to be a series wide soft reboot). So I'm kind of cooling down on Square as well.

Im not even a big FF fan but I've done my part by buying 13 and 15 on Xbox. If this is how Square intends to treat the Xbox fanbases I'll wait for their future FF games to go on sale before buying them.

I agree that FFXV had more than enough sales on Xbox One. 2m-ish on a platform half as big as PS4. A bunch more money from Game Pass as well.
Definitely worth it.

I also bought FFXV at launch and also picked up a season pass so I had the pleasure to play the worst dlc expansions ever made. Base game was alright/decent but I've no desire to play more Final Fantasy. Still what SE and Sony are doing to fans of the series on Xbox is pathetic. Both can fudge off.

Played three missions in Desperados III and I gotta say it's pretty good.
I was doubtful since it's from the same devs as Shadow Tactics which I checked out briefly and didn't like much. Genre is the same as well.
Might have to check it out again after I'm done with Desperados.

I've had my eye on this game for a while and almost bought it before it was added to game pass. Good to hear it's good, I love strategy games and western stuff so I'll give it a go for sure.
