How does it hurts the game? It only hurts the achievement hunters who would complete the achievement and then not play the game anymore....
I probably end up getting the versus 100.000 kills before Gears 6 release but could end up getting it somewhere at the end of 2021. The 100.000 Horde kills I am at 61% completed and well Re ups take some time but with weekend like this that gives you 6x exp it really helps. It is not that rare to see Re up 50 players. But even my active gears 5 friend have mostly passed 50K kills in Gears 5 without grinding.
I'm pretty sure that I read that it was a complete disaster due to technical issues and they didn't get to do a trivia at all so they called Phil in for a quick interview as a sorry and promised to reward the Fanfest folk, I guess the reward was 5,000 points.
