Sounds like 2021 will belong to Xbox. Halo Infinite in the summer and Starfield as the holiday heavy hitter. Combined with console Flight Sim, Gunk, Scorn, and Stalker 2 we got this. Hopefully Forza Horizon 5

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

These are the MTX I like. Their pricing on regular ship sets is CRAZY tho, $20 for a ship set? Should be maybe half that...

I still get the feeling that God of War Ragnarok will be delayed to early 2022 which is my prediction for Hellblade 2’s release. MS will definitely have enough to compete with Sony year one.

If Avengers bombs/ fails to meet Square Enix expectations then it’s possible that they will try to sell Crystal and Eidos like they did IOI when Hitman 1 failed expectations, I can see Sony using their connections to get first dibs if that is the case. Either way both studios would be better off away from Square Enix.

But to imagine MS nabbing them and the Deus Ex license.

That’s what I would hope would happen in that scenario, two more AAA studios and two big IP’s in Tomb Raider and Deus Ex.

Imagine 2021 is Halo Infinite Starfeild, Forza Horizon, and possibly Everwild and Flight simulator console.

If Starfield is 2021 then Halo better be Summer at the latest cause Starfield will 100% be holiday.

Halo in September and Starfeild in November.

Everwild and Hellblade should be saved to help bolster 2022, that’s the year where I believe that Final Fantasy 16 releases.

This is what I hope their 1st party lineup for next year will be:
Flight Sim-February
Pyschonauts 2-March
Grounded Full release-April
Halo Infinite-June
Forza Horizon 5-Sept
Starfield-Oct

Then sprinkle in other 3rd party(timed) exclusives:
Stalker 2
Scorn
As Dusk Falls
Excomecha
Martha is Dead
The Gunk
Crossfire X
Call of the Sea

This looks like a pretty damn good lineup to me. The best part is, this is Xbox's "down year" for next gen. It's only going to get so much better from there on out.

Assuming no delays, then I feel like this could honestly be MS' best first party lineup ever. Until 2022... :)
