I don't see why Xbox would buy Bethesda just to have the advantage of day 1 gamepass/Xcloud games. They could have made a deal with Zenimax to release all their games on Gamepass day 1, which would have cost them way less. 

The Elder Scrolls and Fallout are likely the two biggest platform sellers for Xbox now and could really push Gamepass and hardware sales and with MS having Xbox consoles, PC and xCloud they already cover a large amount of devices that people can choose to play them on. They could choose to release the biggest games like ES6 and Fallout 5 on the PS5 and make some quick money in the sort term but from everything we have seen MS are looking at the long haul potential which would be getting more people into their own ecosystem.

I'd put Halo above Fallout tbh.

I worded it badly I was intending it as to bring in non current Xbox owners to the ecosystem but yeah in terms of overall appeal Halo and TES are the biggest two IP's on Microsoft's shelf.

I like that according to the head mod of this site, it is fine to call GamePass a scam, just not in the way that particular user did it. Do I have the wrong dictionary or something? Does the word scam not mean what I think it means?

It was a troll thread I think. Just poorly written.

He literally posted in another thread a few days earlier the opposite opinion.

Fallout 4 was indeed massive and despite awful launch Fallout 76 has sold a good amount of copies I believe. Probably still missed its targets by a mile though. Don't know which of them is biggest but fucking hell, if you take a moment to think about it.. we have Halo, Fallout and The Elder Scrolls :P spice it up with Gears, Forza, Fable, Minecraft, Sea of Thieves and so on.. Jizzworthy stuff.

I don't give 2 cents about the thread itself. No reason to take it seriously. I care about the closing remarks of the head mod who locked it, stating that there's no issue calling GamePass a scam, but simply needs to be argued better. Frankly, that's a joke.
