I actually wonder what was Obsidians reaction to this buyout, I know peoples first reaction is New Vegas 2 but wouldn’t be up to them or MS at all but Bethesda. Hopefully this fires them up to be more competitive because Avowed was supposed to be a Skyrim competitor and the Outer Worlds is basically Fallout-lite and now they are under the same umbrella.

Yeah we talked about that in discord, was thinking they might be a little awkward about it, they replied with a shrug to that fallout new vegas sequel. And they later did congratulate them to the family. Would have loved to see their reaction though.

Halo Infinite is on the back of the box art for the XSX, they really were confident of reaching launch date. Shame the backlash was as big as it was, was hoping to finally have a fun multiplayer shooter I could play with my friend online as the years of CoD disappointment weighs heavy.

It's funny how some people are starting to say Quality over Quantity as if every Sony 1st party is churning out 90 plus meta games every time.
Lets take a look shall we?

Bethesda PS4 Metacritic on major titles.
1. BGS/ Fallout 4/ 87 meta
2. ID Software/ Doom Eternal/ 87 meta
3. Machine Games/ Wolfenstein 2/ 87 meta
4. Arkane Lyon/ Dishonered 2/ 88 meta
5. Arkane Austin/ Prey/ 79 meta
6. Tango Gameworks/ The Evil Within 2/ 76 meta

Ok so now lets take a look at Obsidian, Ninja Theory and InXile shall we?

Obsidian/ The Outer Worlds/ 85 meta on PS4, Ninja Theory/ Hellblade/ 81 meta on PS4 and Inxile/ Wasteland 3/ 86 meta on PC where it currently has more reviews than the console version. I don't even need to mention Playground games.
