We already discussed that rumor in here

Oops. What’s the consensus? BS or cautious optimism?

I think for the most part we believe that even if that was Microsoft's plan at some point, it seems rather optimistic in the current climate. Obviously nobody would mind if MS could have enough systems ready to ship that soon, but is it realistic...? Idk

Better to be pleasantly surprised than get your hopes up and be disappointed, I'd say.

september damn that would be so soon

September is too early. Only 2 months after the July event.

It  sucks Apple is getting in MSs way with Xcloud on IOS. Apparently their Xcloud App can only access one game, and that’s MCC at the moment. Lot of hoops MS has to jump through to expand iOS offerings

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Yup, due to stupid rules Apple has, xCloud is only allowed one title, which Microsoft cleverly made MCC but there isn't much more they can do unless Apple changes their silly policies (honestly, surely they're breaking some sort of competition laws with this bullshit?). xCloud will fail hard on iOS unless major policy changes are made Imo.

At least we have Android and soon, PC.

Let's face it, Apple doesn't give a shit about it. Because it will only hurt Microsoft and not Apple if xCloud is not on iOS. Apple won't lose anything because xCloud is not something that will make iOS users to migrate to Android. Stadia as a cloud gaming service has already shown it that there is no massive interest for it in mobile space. I still think that MS will find a way to come to agreement with Apple and have all the same games that are available on Android in iOS app when they officially launch it (1 game restriction applies because of Apple's Testflight policies). But most likely the experience will be worse on iOS, like not having a dedicated "Store" section within the app to buy games for example.

Adding in HDR to all older games is a pretty great feature. I imagine the games going from 30 > 60 fps will be a more curated thing that requires testing on Microsoft's end similar to how we got the 4k 360 titles but that is also a pretty neat feature to have.

This constantly shifting schedule of....stuff...is already exasperating, and it's not even June yet.

I'm not going to watch any of these events nor will I search for round-ups of thoses events explicitly.
If I happen to read them on the sites I usually visit, fine. If not... probably not worth my time.

Id love for some 30fps games to get the 60fps boost. Would be great if they did this with 360 titles as well.
