Started Persona 5 Royal.

That's all. Just wanted to mention that for the haters out there *cough* Angelus *cough*. (btw. I never specifically port begged for Persona 5. I just criticized Atlus for skipping Xbox in general)

I've downloaded it. Not gonna be play it just yet, but I'll definitely give it a go at some point before the end of the year.

Real talk, I'd lol if you beat it before some of these other jrpg port beggars in this thread.

He'll probably finish it before I will, haven't even downloaded it yet as I don't have the space. Need to finish some games so I can download it, but Overwatch 2 has enslaved me for the time being.

You’ll be happy to hear that I started P5R this evening since I finished CP2077 and will be my fill in game until Pentiment releases. If I’m even finished by then lol. Occasionally playing some Grounded and the Halo Infinite Winter Update.

After the opening segment, this game is very……Japanese I love how flashy the combat is and the soundtrack is bangin! Looking forward to experiencing this thing!

You good though, looking at your psn signature, I'm guessing you already played it like me!

I really appreciate that P5R hasn't forced every mechanic it has down my throat in the first 30 minutes. Also it's English cast doesn't feel awkward as fuck, pretty great English Dub honestly.

But that only drags out the tutorial even more. I'm three hours in and the things I get taught right now are things that I probably should've known from the start. Pretty basic stuff too.

On the other hand I can't use the hide feature which was taught in the first 10 minutes of the game...

Also the game has been very linear thus far (probably because I'm still in that long tutorial) and the time I spent in combat was less than 10 minutes compared to 170 minutes of walking and dialogue. Hope that evens out eventually.

Well the talks and the stories is what makes Persona great, I got very emotional in 3 and 4 but those games basically need a walktrough to complete everything in one go and made me anxious (not looking forward to replay those)
