Bungie
With all that cash that Epic is making with Fortnite and Unreal Engine, I’m not shocked to see them try to grow as a publisher especially since they want to grow the Epic Store.
This would be good news for Console gamers but not for PC gamers.

Balance Changes Nidhoggr- The damage over time from his fire seems a bit underwhelming right now and needs a buff. Both of his ultimates seems kind of meh currently, maybe replace the silence one with something that actually does damage. Maeve- Easily the most overpowered character in the game right now. Her cage and health steal beam are both devastating, and when you finally get close to killing her she can just go invulnerable and summon her board safely to escape. Reduce her cage duration, reduce the damage of her health steal beam, then buff her basic attack damage a bit. Kulev- Underwhelming healing capabilities for a support character, his AoE healing doesn't heal nearly enough. Buff his AoE healing a bit and he should be fine. Miko- Quite possibly the most underwhelming character in the game currently. A melee healer who has serious issues closing the distance needed to melee effectively, all she can do to close distance is waste her stamina on dodges, which then leaves her unable to dodge enemy attacks when she needs to. Her freeze also doesn't seem to last as long as the other stuns in the game, making it largely useless. And her actual damage output feels low compared to Kulev and even compared to ZeroCool. My recommendations for improving her would be to give her faster stamina regen than all other characters so that she can dodge to close distance without ruining her ability to dodge enemy attacks, or giver he basic attack a lock-on lunge effect that locks onto the nearest enemy she is facing within a few meters. Make her freeze last slightly longer, and maybe give her kinectic shield a healing effect for all allies inside without wasting a mod slot to do that. Buff her damage per swing a bit as well. Makuto- Repellent doesn't push enemies quite far enough away to be all that useful, and his ball ultimate deals underwhelming damage. Buff those two and he should be fine. Buttercup- Probably the 2nd most OP character in the game currently after Maeve. Her chain + oil combo is absolutely devastating and makes escaping a battle when you get low on health very difficult when facing her. She also can move really quickly to chase down enemies with her stamina based unicycle charge. All of this feels a bit unfair for those who want to escape a battle to heal. The chain could probably use a distance nerf or longer cooldown, and the oil shouldn't slow quite as much as it does. Her DPS also feels a bit too high for a tank, so nerf that a bit. |
100% agree on Meave and Buttercup, Kulevs firebreath has crap range and damage but his Axe throw makes up for it, his Silence ultimate is worthless and Ride the Lightning doesn’t do enough damage even if the main effect is stun.
that fact that Buttercups Grab has an instant mod for Range is cheap. Miko sucks and her only saving grace is that her Heal has like a 2-3 second cool down but almost everyone that uses her doesn’t heal teammates and only themselves. Her Freeze need a 2-3 second buff.

Me too.. Id actually replay the first through again though and the 2 chapter dlc.

Alan Wake was one of my favourite 360 games. |
Agreed. Excellent story, atmosphere, characters...
I still use it as my true-achievements pic.

Only issue with the game is the poor driving sections and lack of variety in enemies. Though, the two DLC levels added to that. |
They must have been poor. I only remembered the driving sections after you mentioned them now...
Thanks for that.
My fear for Halo Infinite is that it launches but like Halo 5, certain staples like Forge, Firefight, and Big Team Battle were absent at launch. Everything we love has to be day 1 for the launch to be a success
If games gotta be pushed back, then that's just how it's gotta be. MS needs to establish a good working culture for their studios.
