 I predicted a little low and i can see you are surprised,  just the other day i was at 3 different stores and not one of them had a PS3 in stock.  This proves beyond any doubt that the PS3 is sold out at many stores if not all locations.  The PS3 will meet demand once GTA4 and MGS4 come out if Sony can get the system to the stores.

vgchartz was way off on a lot of things.. army of two and rainbow six in particular I think. Army of two on this site (360) is at like 450k for usa and canada with more time, as opposed to just america for 600k in less time. Hopefully ioi does his thing.

The 80gb unit was selling more units then the 40gb when both were in stock, using this logic we can clearly assume that a fully stocked country of 80gb and 40gb units would garner sales of 500k on an off month.

I don't remember anybody saying this. And if they did I would be too busy laughing to respond.

March sales have been down from February sales for the previous 5 years according to NPD. February is generally a bigger month for HW sales than March.
