Well, if that's so, then PS4 also didn't top 100M yet. After all, we would have to deduce the Pro model first. Same stuff with the XBO and the One X of course.

I mean, you can play in 4k on the mid-gen upgrade, something the OG PS4 and XBO couldn't do. Additionally, there's the playback of Blu-Ray 4K on the One X. Hell, their whole Shtick was to be able to play in 4K in the first place. So if you seriously advocate that the Switch sales should be split up, then the same should happen to it's two competitors as well.

I don't think PS5 will affect NS sales, but they'll be on a downward trend next year regardless. 

PS5 even with a mere good start should be outselling the Switch.

Switch should have Holidays 2019 + most of 2020, until PS5+XB2 launch, where it Reigns surpreme as the king of sales.
I suspect in 2021, Switch sales will probably fall below XB2+PS5.

TCSM is soon to start mass production of 5nm chips (mostly for mobile chips).
You saw how going from 20nm -> 16nm, ment that Switch could run basically double as long.

Imagine the jump from 16nm -> 5nm, on a node "MENT" for mobile and power effeciency.
Hopefully Nintnedo is already working with either Nvidia or AMD on a newer Switch chip, for the next console.

Pretty much.

The jump from 20nm -> 5nm (and a node made for power effeciency), should be pretty drastic.
If Nintendo chooses to follow other "mobile chip" developers, and make the next Switch useing current tech.

Nintendo were lazy with the switch design.
They just took a chip that was already designed, and nvidia had a bunch of, just laying around they couldnt sell in phones to anyone.

I'd like to see them work with AMD and do a current gen design (still Arm), ment for 5nm, from the ground up.

I'm pretty sure the lite has ~50$ of margin wiggle room, and the normal Switch upwards of ~100$.
Right now Nintendo is just enjoying profits on hardware sales, without a reason to sell them for less.

Yes, but I think price cuts are the only thing that will push NS sales in the future. They've released entries in all their big franchises already so the fans of those have already purchased switches. LITE will likely get a big number to double dip too perhaps but even so I don't think that'll be enough to sell more next year.
