Well, if that's so, then PS4 also didn't top 100M yet. After all, we would have to deduce the Pro model first. Same stuff with the XBO and the One X of course.

I mean, you can play in 4k on the mid-gen upgrade, something the OG PS4 and XBO couldn't do. Additionally, there's the playback of Blu-Ray 4K on the One X. Hell, their whole Shtick was to be able to play in 4K in the first place. So if you seriously advocate that the Switch sales should be split up, then the same should happen to it's two competitors as well.

You mean because of the next gen coming in a good year? I wouldn't be so sure about that. After all, the PS4 had it's best year the year the Switch got released. The market of the two consoles are completely different and hardly overlap.

So no, don't expect the Switch sales to come down crashing just because the PS5 and Scarlett get released. That's just not how it works, guys.

I don't think PS5 will affect NS sales, but they'll be on a downward trend next year regardless.

PS5 even with a mere good start should be outselling the Switch.

Most people, including myself, rather think that next year will be the zenith of the Switch sales, only starting to slowly drop in 2021. You may be correct, but considering the base model still hasn't got any pricecut, I do consider it having enough margin to maneuver into any direction if needed.
