Forums - Nintendo Discussion - We live in a world where Nintendo gets better support from Microsoft than EA

I only really noticed that today, but it's honestly true.

E.A basically gives just FIFA and that one Fi game. Meanwhile Microsoft puts on Minecraft, the recent Minecraft new title, Cuphead....and beyond that as E.A does less Microsoft does more.

...I also get the idea that more effort is in play on the Microsoft end than E.A. Also a lot more willingness and enthusiasm.

What a weird timeline....

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Who cares about ea anyway, they can do whatever they want with their micro transactions and copy paste sport games.

A new game is unlikely to be announced. A character for Smash or the confirmation of a port (such as the first Ori game) are more probable options, especially the latter.

True. Maybe Battletoads, but that did not look very good unfortunately.

Well, EA is filth, what do you expect

Legitimate support, seeing as the system sells quite well by many metrics.

People need to stop and think before bashing on EA (I know it's fun guys, and in most cases they deserve it) Porting EA's biggest franchises into a Switch would require much more resources and money than porting a game like Minecraft, that can run on a toaster.

EA and Nintendo has some type of hissy fit before the Wii U was launch in 2012. EA has yet to get over whatever caused this disagreement. Its kind of pathetic at this point.

Didn't E.A change management a few times since then, and thus the people from that time should be gone...particularly the ones on the atmost top?

Well, its kind of expected to MS to have one or two ports ready for the Switch.

I mean, its weird as hell, but its the world we live in.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

If nothing else there is that new Minecraft game, they also mention Ubisoft , Bethesda and Square Enix so I don't think people should get their hopes up too much.
