Great call. Top Secret was the best Zucker Bros movie, but those Naked Gun movies were all fantastic. I thought it was 93' tbh.

Leslie Nielsen was a comedy God in those days, may he rest in peace. 

He really was. His delivery as a comedy straight man at his peak was, and is, unparalleled.

Wow 1994 was a good year.

Pulp Fiction
Dumb & Dumber
The Lion King
Leon: The Professional
The Shawshank Redemption
Ace Ventura Pet Detective
Star Trek Generations
Stargate

Cinema today completely sucks compared to that. Some of my all-time favorites in there; Pulp Fiction and Shawshank are brilliant, Dumb & Dumber is the best comedy ever made. The Lion King the best (hand-drawn) animated movie ever and Leon is Natalie Portman’s best movie, by far.

Tough choice, I’d say it’s between Pulp Fiction, Shawshank and D&D for me. I think I’ll give ot to Pulp Fiction, since knowing the ending to Shawshank takes a bit away from the intensity, while you can watch Pulp fiction over and over.

So, Pulp Fiction.

That's a solid list of movies.  I have to go with Forest Gump though.  That might have been the movie of the decade.

So long ago since I've seen many of those films. I didn't realize 94 was such a great year for movies. I really don't think I can pick just one. So many greats, both polled and later posted. Going to have to binge on 94 soon. The one thing I do remember most clearly is my fav team at the time, the NY Rangers, winning the Stanley Cup that year.

I was kinda young then so Little Giants and D2 Mighty Ducks stand out in direct relation.

On that list, probably True Lies.
I also liked Speed, Dumb and Dumber, and Forrest Gump, and some parts of Pulp Fiction.

I haven't seen Interview with THE Vampire.
I wasn't a fan of The Crow or Lion King (Disney Renaissance films are not really my cup of tea, too musical, too simplistic... Though I kind of liked Mulan, and ironically it's because of one of the most ridiculously funny songs of all time sung by Donny Osmond).

Whoa how can you miss one of the obvious best movies of the year form the poll in The Shawshank Redemption. That is easily my favorite movie from 1994 its probably my favorite movie of all time and its easily my favorite movie from the 90s.  Natural Born Killers should have been in the poll also.
