I hear this on this site a lot. But, do we have any actual evidence of that? There's always plenty in stock at my local Target, Walmart, GameStop, and really multiple locations of each of those stores that I go to frequently.  I pay pretty close attention, because this stuff interest me. But, I can't recall ever seeing a retailer out of stock of PS4 Pro except a couple times during the holiday season right after launch.

Apparently Pro is getting a 2TB HDD stock for the same $399 price point. Japan for now, but most likely worldwide soon enough.

That's a nice way to add value without dropping the price

That PS4 bundle is an extremely good deal. I doubt they will offer a deal that good for the rest of December. On the other hand Switch with a bundled game for $299 is a good deal, but it also seems like the sort of thing they could offer for all of December.

I wouldn't be surprised if the $299 Mario Kart bundle becomes standard going forward.

its anecdotal at this point. not every place is going to be the same but that seems to be the general opinion on other sites too.

Maybe there is a pro deal coming.

Last year they didnt have a deal for Pro on Black Friday but they did have a $50 off deal for a week in December, I could see that happening again maybe with a game bundled this time.

I think it is a near-certainty that it will continue through the Xmas season.

I think it should become the standard going forward.  Or, maybe one of three bundles - Zelda, Odyssey, and Kart.  But, whatever game they choose, it is past time for Nintendo to either lower the price or put more value in that $300 box.

Makes me think PS is assuming that either MS isn't going to drop the price of XB1X this holiday, or that even a $449 1TB XB1X won't be competitive enough against a $399 2TB Pro.

$299 Nintendo Switch with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Pre-installed

.......

So no physical copy...  Should have thrown in another controller.  Not a good Black Friday deal.

KHOLS are going a Switch, headset, carry case and a KHOLS $90 for $329.

I think Sony know who will buy the Pro, mostly current PS4 users so why drop the price too far...so keep adding value. Be interesting what they do when the PS5 comes along, I suspect the pro will be pointless at that point, and it'll just be the slim and Ps5 as others have suggested.

Soul Calibur isn't even a month old yet and it's already on sale for nearly half price.

Wonder if we'll see the same outrage as we saw when the same happened to Shadow of the Tomb Raider.  Though, to be fair, if I hadn't gotten the latter on a pre-order sale for c$50, I likely would have been pissed too.
