Don't overlook this fact folks. September is 5 weeks vs 4 for August. Bear that in mind. The only console gaining momentum atm is the ps4. 

I think the only objective way to look at this is to compare it to the same 5 week month from 2017.  

Using the following estimates:

PS4: 300-310k
XBO: 170-180k
Switch ≥ 308k

Only Switch is down 15%. 

Xbox One is literally not moving (which is a negative considering the X wasn't available in September 2017 and those number were probably held back by X anticipation) so yes you are probably right.

PS4 is up 37%

On topic, PS4 did amazing, and in its 5th year. Goes to show what great well marketed title will do. Switch did alright, gained some momentum from last month. 

september is a 5 week month for npd.

I said it did alright and it gained some. Some usually suggesting smaller amount. Did it gain any sales month over month?

Looking through the first page I see a mixed bag. The majority thought Switch would edge it based on a strong end to 2017, a bunch think that the PS4 will also just edge 2018 and a minority think that the Switch will "destroy" the PS4.

What you posted is not only misleading but completely focused on another community and forum, which funnily enough, you're banned from. Incredibly poor form.

i think anyone who can't see that games trigger momentum is blind.  This is why hopes for a 20million Switch shipment aren't completely dead yet.  Games can perform miracles

This numbers (down) clearly show that Switch is not loosing momentum, actual sales for Switch were very stable hole year, and we again talking about sales without system seller games for hole year, and two biggest Switch games of year yet need to be launched.

January-September total sales:

PS4: ~2708K (+9%)
NSW: ~2245K (-3%)
XB1: ~1868K (+32%)

Pokemon Lets Go target more casual gamers and kids, that kind of game dont make hype and preorders among their targeted audince like other usual games.

Also interesting you only reported that Pokemon hype is weak, while you didn't mention that Smash Bros Ultimate hype is incredible strong. ;)

who cares that im banned from there, i was only banned cause someone said i was discrediting benji on vgchartz

So, Carl was obviously mocking with his own style of posting (the fact he cannot see this a mile away is amusing), and your statement was off quoted. That leaves Rying and Ultimategamer as his example.

so you never said switch is gonna probably take very npd this year? and the fear is real when people doubted Amazon accuracy.
