MS needs a big launch for the XB5. Halo and Horizon are their big guns. I wouldn't be surprised to see them Both during the launch window, with Motorsport and Gears the next year. I also expect a big, new IP near launch.

Launching both big games at the same time would be an idiotic move. One is gonna hurt the other (or both will hurt each other). This is the same as people wanting Mario and Zelda both to be there at launch, because Zelda wouldnt have done nearly as good if it shared its launch with odyssey. MS should space their titles out.
Horizon is big enough to be a premier holiday title, while motorsport can play a support role. Also, why cant we let playground have a third year for additional development? I dont want a repeat of Forza 5.

Launching with two big games is not idiotic, it is smart. If MS wants to gain market share next generation (which they certainly do), they'll need a hot start. The more big games, the better, in that regard. It is not the same as launching two big games at the same time in the middle of the generation. In that case, they would compete with each other a bit (which happens all the time anyway). In this case, they would move consoles, which moves software throughout the rest of the generation.
In any case, Halo and Motorsport may be the way they go. I'm just sayin, they better launch with more than a 82 metacritic Halo, and a couple of AA games.
I've been an XB-first gamer since the first XB. But, after seeing the massive gulf open up between PS and XB in terms of great AAA exclusives, even I may go with PS first next generation. But, an awesome Halo at launch would likely keep me XB-first. Add to that an awesome Horizon release, and it would be a no-brainer for me. I'm certainly not the only gamer thinking this way.
(By XB-first, I mean that I buy an XB at the start of the generation, and (usually) pick up a PS later in the generation. That means most of my software purchases throughout the generation go to XB. This is due to my loyalty to Halo. But, Halo needs to get back to leading the pack in FPSs if XB is going to get me to wait a couple years to play the awesome PS exclusives. And, though it doesn't really apply here, I always buy Nintendo systems once there are a few exclusives that I want, regardless of where I am with XB and PS.)
