LOL I read that as "good" and I saw the pic and had to stop for a second ... lol

Day time looks great. Night time is super bad. Its like Watch Dogs level imo. Other than that the game has been pretty damn fun.

the buildings seems so plain and generic.

I've been playing about 4-5 hours. I'm having this weird audio issue where after playing for a few minutes almost all audio stops and all I hear is the wind blowing, the same sound you hear when you're slinging around at high speed. Other times audio is muted during cut scenes randomly. Lady talks but I hear nothing, Spider-Man replies but I don't hear it, then I hear the lady. It's bizarre. I have to save and reload to fix it. I completed a side mission and got an infinite loading screen. Annoying issues.

I love the traversal. Not feeling much else at the moment. Funny enough it's becoming more and more to me to be just the Playstation version of Sunset Overdrive. Incredible movement and traversal, cool weaponry, but bad writing and pretty ok gameplay. Insomniac obviously couldn't go as vulgar as they did with SO, which is good in some cases, not in others.

Why if I have the skill unlocked to rip a gun out of an enemies hands by holding triangle, does it not work a majority of the time? It's the only combat issue I have so far outside of simple unoriginal design.

I am sticking with my Strong 76. Its an extremely good game, I enjoyed the story and the end boss battle, and zooming around is great. What soured it a little was some of the side stuff was not very well balanced (for trophy hunters like myself), they messed up the challenges in difficulty.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Finding the game really frustrating and boring to be honest (I mean waves of enemies in the first hour or two really???). I dont know why but I'm also hating the mini games - while i was playing it i was asking myself what was Insomniac thinking? Thank god you can skip them.

I see a few similar frustration comments, and it seems like the frustration goes away after getting stuck into the meat of the game. Its just I'm struggling to get out of this frustration bit. I'm between 10 and 20 % complete so far.

I've had the game since launch but I haven't beaten it. I'm really enjoying it. But...

I was on Facebook. I saw a Sony video about the villains in the game. It showed several I didn't even know were there. I didn't even watch the video. It played automatically. I only saw a few seconds but that was enough. Then, I thought back to E3 where they revealed another villain. I've actually gone out of my way to avoid reviews, trailers, etc. I decided to comment. I said "I've never seen a company try so hard to spoil their own surprises".

Some guy replied, "Well, at least they didn't tell you ___________".

Pretty much told me the ending of the game. Now, I'm sad.

I know the feeling, man. I've had an ending spoiled because it was quoted by another user complaining that he got spoiled :/

I haven't beaten Spider-Man yet either. Thanks for not spoiling the end here

I finished the story last night. Gameplay is solid, and fun. Later in the game some enemies can cheese you and that was frustrating when it happened. Story was "good" for the most part, but I thought the ending was pretty "meh". I give it an 8.5-9. It's a great game. I'm having a lot of fun with it, but it's definitely not at God of War levels.

I have platined it so now I can comment.
A great 85-90 game (score deducted because of crime missions being too repetitive and the facial animation/realism being a little lower than what I like) but the world, combat, details and animation are fantastic. I liked the story, how the two main villains are constructed as believable shaping up and how the end is made for sequel. Trying to avoid spoilers.

The game is pretty easy even on hard (at least compared to some games I have been playing lately), sure getting 3 star on the challenges are hard, but you don't need any to make platinum. 2 starts is easy enough to make in first try (besides drone, which can get you a while).
