That could be social democracy too, but the tight control nazism had on everything can't be defined social democracy, as it lacked democracy at all. It wasn't maximalist socialism, as it didn't abolish private property, but it was a non maximalist, but totalitarian form of socialism because of that tight control of property and production, and above all because people, while they were provided by the state a level of assistance broader than in capitalist states, could do WHAT THEY WERE ALLOWED, not, like in a democracy, anything that isn't explicitly forbidden.

American did great for hundreds of years in spite of racism. In fact, people from all over world want to be here in spite of the horrible racism the media pushes.

The real death of America is socialism, abysmal handling of immigration, being weak on crime, debt, etc. Left wing ideologies in general is corrosive and we lean into even while watching other countries struggle with some of these terrible ideas.

Nazi's are actually National Socialists.

That is, they are very very far-right, but take a socialist approach to various things like it's markets... I.E. People worked collectively for the good of the country, setting aside personal interests (I.E. Money, Career etc'.) for the greater good.
In other words the state and not the markets dictated the shape of the economy.

The issue people have I think is that they see the political spectrum purely in left vs right, when in-fact you can take ideas from both.
Hitler and the Nazi party were most certainly far right-wing as they can go, they were facist nationalists (I.E. Less extreme version of Trump), but they had left-wing underpinnings to markets and social hierarchy.

Socialism is a left wing ideology only but things like fascism and nationalism can be on left. Russia, China and NK fits those definitions but they are left wing. Left wing scholars are the ones who determined that nazism is far right. Let's say Africa becomes some kind of socialist state but black supremacists are the ruling party. Are they considered far right because of the racial component?

My country has very strong, nationalistic, protectionist ideas... And to be frank that has benefited the nation as a whole.
Unlike most other people, I am happy to support either the left or the right, because I don't give actually give a shit... Rather I weigh up the Pro's and Con's of any topic and go with whomever has the best evidence/argument.
