Zombie9ers said: It is such a great product- and to me was a game changer for video game experiences. I got mine when they first came out- traded in my DVD collection that had been collecting dust- so luckily I didn't have to come up with the money. First couple of games I played were Batman: Arkham VR and Until Dawn: Rush of Blood. I couldn't believe how immersive it was. Then when RE7 came out that January - first AAA game completely playable with PSVR - such an awesome, horrifyingly good time! My top 5 games / experiences would be: 1 - RE7 2 - GT Sport 3 - Star Wars: X-Wing Mission 4 - Farpoint 5 - Rez Infinite |
I'm with you on that. I've been gaming for 36 years and it had gotten stale in a way. Always the same types of games. PSVR reignited my love for gaming so to speak, made me excited for the future again.
I'd never say I'll never play a traditional 2D game but it's just a great and exciting addition and very unlikely to go away. The second and especially third gen will be when the real progress will be made and I can't wait to experience it.
