Having a higher MC doesn't make something more valid, nor is it the only metric by which to measure something.

Metascore takes all the professional reviews and averages them out so if you want prove that a game didn't get inflated scores its actually they best source available.

And? Some of those "professional" reviews are anything but.

Again FM7 scored one point lower then FM6 despite being a better game so my original point is completely valid.  Also if FM7 would have had a lot of unprofessional reviews its metascore would have been a lot higher.

Also FM6's metascore comes from 85 reviews while FM7's metascore comes from 79 reviews.  So out of those two games its much more likely that FM6 had inflated review scores.

And what you're resisting is the idea that a game reviewer isn't going to score Flight Sim as high as Ace Combat. A game reviewer doesn't care that GT is recognized drive time for a racing license.

They're rating how much they enjoyed a game. Not how accurate a Sim is, nor the additional real-world perks that might come with the game.

GT Sport lacked and still lacks ton of content compared to all the previous games in the franchise so its low reviews where justified.  Just like FM5 low reviews where justified since it lacked content compared to its previous game.

I imagine those who got into the nissan academy where joker racers right?

Nobody ever said that GT isn't a good Skyline simulator, GT6 had like close to 80 of them.

Yes sure. All competitions on nissan academy where skyline and certainly all nissan racing teams use only them. Sure joker racers.

And if a specific type of "real racing gamer" wants to log his time towards a racing license, then a "real racing gamer" (whatever that is) is going to play GT Sport.

Do you see how that metascore played absolutely no role in that hypothetical gamer's purchase? There is value beyond what reviewers determine.

You are wrong. Real world license, championship to enter a real team, creator winning second place in his first race in nurburgring, sales dominance is all symbols of a worse game and metacritic shows it all.

I'm pretty sure he was trying to talk about hardcore sim racers even though his wording was super vague and again those would play neither game.

We all know you didn’t even play the game to even know what you’re talking about. Most serious racers prefer GT Sport to F7 by far and that got hugely inflated review scores.

Don't say that. He promised in another thread that he only enter threads of products he is highly interested in.

Guys, you might history with each other, but leave it outside. The OP is asking a question, everyone has a right to give their opinion, even negative ones. If you think he's wrong, debunk it with logic, no one wants to see this personal crap.
