I'm interested, but I'm not sure if I'll buy it. I loved the story and the characters, but by the end I was getting tired of the ridiculous difficulty spikes and spongey enemies. I'll have to watch some of it on youtube since I'm not really interest in new drivers, I want more story. But the premise sounds great, I just hope we get to explore some new areas.

The difficulty spikes and spongey enemies annoyed the fuck out of me too, but I'm hoping the recent addition of an Easy Mode will mitigate these frustrations somewhat.

I was able to beat the level 110 boss, on the ruined continent, with level 70 something characters. If anything Xenoblade 2 was a tad on the easy side.

For you maybe, but I found it a pain in the arse fighting many of the story bosses with their annoying gimmick attacks that null healing, one-hit a character, or topple your whole party.

Well, I did spend 200 hours on the game, so all my drivers/blades had all their Skills/Arts maxed out. And I bought all the best foods to give everybody the best buffs. And then I went ahead and made Poppi into a super OP custom tank of death. :P

Yeah I didn't invest quite that much into it haha

This was the one announcement at E3 that actually made me excited.

Yeah, this was pretty much the only good thing about E3 for me. Terribly weak showing overall.

Difficulty spikes went unnoticed by me as well.  Everyone plays differently, so maybe that had something to do with it.  I only put about 110 hours into it with the intention to return later for more side content.

The end of the game felt easy IMO.  I controlled Zeke a lot as a DPS, Nia as a healer, and morag as a tank.  I would also take control of Rex and equip blade Nia/another healing blade/Mythra to be a hybrid DPS/tank with CPU controling Zeke as a DPS.  This was a powerful combo as well.  Hybrid healers only work well when you control them, but man do they work well.

I'm looking forward to some lesbisk stuff.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Unlikely to happen, Nintendo are a fairly conservative company.

Haha, I know, I was just goofing around.

Sheba is clearly a lesbian. She's not really that subtle about it.

Pretty sure than Haze (Fan la Norne) will fall in love with Hinoka, so not worries there.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
