Forums - Sony Discussion - Guerrilla Games is expanding: moving to a new building, hoping to grow from 250 employees to 400 employees

New true Killzone-Shooter, Horizon Zero Dawn 2 and a new IP someday - thats the future (in the next 7 years), i think :)

im playing through HZD, just spectacular, and would make sense they were growing now to gear up for ps5, i cant wait to see what they bring to ps5

Sounds like they'll likely have 3 projects going at any time (of course 1 will take the lion's share of resources in the last 12-18 months of development).

Good project management would know how to balance the resources needed at each step of the development so they can have engineers, tester, writers, etc being used continuously in multiple projects as needed;

"Guerrilla Games" is the next "Naughty Dog" in future then, a perfect studio for amazing quality

I dont think they will get 2 or even 3 projects running co-currently.
But if they can that would be great.

I would actually like to see them have a smaller 2nd project that builds off the first, so that title has a shorter overall dev time. For instance, U4 and Lost Legacy. I think GG could have their LL esque game too (but as a new IP) so they can shuffle between the bigger Horizon IP and that smaller one (which builds off Hoirizon).

Anyways, loving Horizon. Look forward to the sequel.

Depending on the team balance they could, they would be in different parts of development.

Killzone 2 and 3 were fly so I would like to see a Killzone game with ample development time.

Horizon series will be their bread and butter.

Cool. So with a bunch of new people, can guerilla games please set aside 10 people or so and make Killzone 2 and 3 for PSVR? That would be great, thanks!
