Moderate boost for Switch this week after strong first week sales (even with shortages) of Octopath Traveler as well as the port for Captain Toad. PS4 dropped another couple hundred units with only Mary Skelter releasing. Both consoles are selling around the same percentage of their AWN so they both continue onward but the short term prospects look particularly grim for PS4 with no big games on the horizon.

Isn't there a Monster Hunter World bundle releasing soon? Or is it a bad deal?

To celebrate the first anniversary, the set of "Splatoon 2" software and Nintendo Switch became a set, the main unit set will be resold from July 13 (Fri)! It also has a use ticket for Nintendo Switch Online, which will be officially started from September, so it is recommended for people who are going to start from now.

Funny enough I think that might in the source of those articles.

Weird then that many articles would spread the same misinformation while having the source...but thank you for correcting me.

COMG pointed all the way that Octopath would debut below Bravely Default. Even with shortages (although lack of a physical copy does not equal not available when it can be purchased digitally), I suspect it would have still debuted lower.

Going to be frank, most bundles now a days for popular titles in Japan seem to be Console (Price) + Game (Price) (without sales or discount). Splatoon doesn't feel any different, outside of the 3 months online.

Splatoon 2 bundle at least gets ya different colored controllers right?
