I clicked 5mil+ as I wrongfully presumed that OP ment lifetime sales (based on the title). Read poll's full description afterwards. I'd add "first week" in thread's title.

We know that preorders in japan/ USA are good, and that Nintendo is sending 600k to France alone, that lets go is the first Home console Pokemon game. Fw:3.5 million and lifetime 14 million

I think this game will do better in the West than Japan (relatively compared to previous games). The nostalgia factor will drive it here especially as many haven't played much Pokemon since the originals.
