I think thats unlikely since its not advertised in the trailer. My presumption is that fractions will be announced with a bang since its apparently  a big project thats been in developement for years. 

I wonder if this trailer was due to be in the Summer Game fest show tonight

- The Last of Us standalone multiplayer game is one of Naughty Dog's biggest and most ambitious projects

I'm hoping Factions will be PS5/PC Day One rather than PS4/PS5/PC.

It wasn't shown today at Summer Game Fest so "Overdose" is likely the Xbox exclusive game.

Neil Druckmann announced it at the SGF

Right from Neil Druckmann during Summer Games Fest. Might be a blog post too confirming it. 

So The Last of Us standalone multiplayer might not be launching until 2024.

As much as I dislike live service games, I'm interested in Naughty Dog's approach to it, especially if this standalone project is bigger than any of their single player games. It's confirmed to have a story mode as well as a new cast of characters and setting.

The Last of Us remake looks good, but there's no chance I'm spending 70 euros on the game, regardless of how great I think it is.

The TLOU stand alone multiplayer is not getting shown til next year according to Druckman, so what are the 2 online games Sony is due to launch this fiscal year? Very curious
