What a match that was it wasn't a spectacular display from any team but it was a hard fought battle and spirited display from both of them even with the chaos, first QF in 16 years and first ever penalty shootout win in a WC ever.

England won on pens, hot damn.

Crap 1-1 was correct but England won instead of Colombia. No points for me.

I find it ironic that the man who had the misfortune of missing the decisive penalty 22 years ago is the man to manage England to their first ever penalty shootout victory in a world cup.

For me this was the worst round of 16 in a World Cup ever. Pure disappointment...
