Michael Jackson is probably a prime example of that Prince is a close second. None solo artist that can easily can hit high notes would be Steve Perry from Journey and the late and great Freddie Mercury from Queen I should know a bunch more but none come to mind.

Well MJ's speaking voice was very high pitched. As far as overall vocal range Axl Rose actually has a wider vocal range then pretty much any other male singer.

I just read the chart that showed Axl Rose on top but I'm having a hard time taking it seriously when it also claims Rose hit lower notes than Barry White and higher notes than Marvin Gaye, Steven Tyler, Freddie Mercury and Bono.
